Ham and Grits had reached the tunnel before Jak and Blue Bell could have seen them. They went on ahead without the other two, but before the could start climbing down the well, Ham tripped and fell down the well. Unfortunately, he couldn't stop, only slow his fall. Grits followed behind him and helped him ease down the well. "Hey! Wait up!", said Jak. "We're coming, just wait!" "Please, wait on us!", said Blue Bell. "We'll help each other down the well." "Yea, I've got all we need in my back pack.", said Jak. "Also got some granola bars, some hot chocolate mix, some....." "NEVER!", Ham and Grits shouted. They had no intention of bringing Blue Bell or Jak with them any longer. In fact, they never wanted to see them ever again. So, they jumped.

They woke up on the other side of the well. When they turned around, they noticed the well had collapsed. "Good riddance.", Grits said. They searched the island for their mom. Every cave, tree, field, and on the shore. They had looked all day, and the sun was setting. They decided to rest near a tree. But as they got closer to the tree, they noticed it had a small window on it. "What's that smell?", said Ham. "Whatever it is, it's terrible.", said Grits. As they neared the house, the smell grew stronger. They entered the house and looked around. "That smell... I think something.... died.", said Ham. "Its mice. Look at all the rat poison.", said Grits. The house was surrounded with broken rat traps. "I..... guess so." Ham and Grits entered the house and Ham started gagging from the smell. Grits just ignored it and kept looking through the house. She opened every door, peek in every closet, and scoured every inch of the house, all the while, Ham throwing up in the bathroom they found. She almost lost hope for this house and any secrets it held, but after tripping over a bump underneath one of the rugs, she found a trap door with the lock a sticking out. "Ham! I found it! Here, over here!" Grits could not contain her excitement. However, going through an abandoned house whilst looking for their lost family did not let her hopes get so high. "Looks like quite a fall. For a basement.", said Ham. "Well, it's come down to this.", said Grits. "We jump, we find Mom. We don't, we'll never know if she down here. But how bad could it possibly be to jump down?" So, they went into the trap door.

The next day...

Jack and Blue Bell had tried all the could to open the well, but even a giant couldn't open the well up, mostly because it was a wormhole in space and time connecting two different worlds together, breaking all laws of reality, but you know. Ham and Grits were not heard of again, neiher was their mother. So, if they were never heard of again, there can't be any more story for this book.

But, this is not The End...
