I Found You

Chapter 28:Surreal

Eren was asleep in his own private world of torture. Nothing around him looked familar ... except for Levi. Who seemed to be drowing while Eren was bound to land. He wasn't sure why but he was stuck in place not able to grasp the love of his life who was fading away by the second.

"Levi hold on ill get you!!" Eren pulled and tugged but it felt like quicksand. He couldn't tell you what was holding him back but it wasnt letting go.

"Eren please save yourself!" Levi was right under his chin in what Eren seen as water. He fought and tore at whatever was holding him back.

"Levi please don't go! Im trying but something is keeping me here!" Levi smiled at Eren one last time before speaking his final words.

"Its you holding yourself back....remember Eren...you have to so you can be free." Then Levi was gone, Eren watched as he was finally pulled under.

"LEVI NO PLEASE I CANT, I CANT REMEMBER!!" Eren screamed until he couldn't anymore he yanked furiously getting closer to Levi.He felt immense burning against his skin and his head was pounding.Eren felt like he was going to pass out any second but he couldn't he had to save Levi, so he thought of everything he could. The smiling...the laughing....the kissing...everything began to resurface again. All of the pain and anger to the small moments that could make him genuinely smile, to the sad heart-wrenching moments that make him crack. It all came back at once feeling like a huge colorful explosion.

Eren finally pulled free and grabbed onto Levi screaming one last time before freeing them both.

"AHHHH I GOT YOU!!"
"LEVI!!"

Eren flew upwards taking an enormous gasp for air tears running down his face and Levi who had woken up to his cries holding him as tight as one could. As if he was gonna disappear at any second.

"L-Levi?" Levi was on the verge of tears himself.

"Its okay Eren i got you im here." Eren suddenly felt a huge pang in the side of his head and grabbed for it. He was extremely confused his memories are all mixed up.

"Levi w-whats going o-on? How long h-have i been asleep?" Levi looked up to Eren and could tell he was serious.

"Like 4 hours why?" Eren didn't believe it there was no way.

"Whats the last thing you remember?" Levi was scared to hear the next thing that came out if his mouth.

"I patted your head..and we said goodnight and i felt really dizzy and then i woke up just now....i-i felt like i was drowning.."

Levi couldn't believe it he really didn't understand what was happening to Eren. "Holy fuck...Eren that was almost four days ago." Eren gasped at this.

"What do you mean! What the fuck happened?" Levi shrugged which doesn't comfort him at all.

"Well you basically remembered nothing from either life you backtracked to before you had met me and Hanji." We believe its from excessive trauma.

Eren was shocked how could that happen to him without signs?
"How did you find out?" Levi couldn't wait for Erens reaction.

"You tried to bash my head in with a bat while i was sleeping." Erens jaw fucking dropped, he tried to kill Levi? Plus he said it so nonchalantly...what the literal fuck.

"LEVI IM SO FUCKING SORRY I HAD NO CLUE!!" Levi chuckled at this and hugged Eren.

"Its okay brat except still can't explain why you dont remember this week unless YOU were in a coma like state while you were receding."

"Hmm i guess that makes some sense."

Eren was tired so he accepted that explanation for now. He fell back onto the bed defeated, his own mind had basically shutdown.
