Chapter 7: Visitors

"Hi i-im Petra, sorry for disturbing you."
Levi just looked at Eren and was trying to get him to play it off like he didn't know her but Eren could still remember her last words... 'Damn you!Come at me! I'll defeat you even if it kills me!'
Eren wasn't feeling too hot, he needed some air, he was gonna be sick."H-Hi, umm, L-Levi I need air."
"Uh, okay, Petra excuse us please."
Eren stormed out of the house and ran around the back and threw up,he just kept seeing images of her against the tree.. and he could only feel guilt. Suddenly he felt a hand on his back and jumped but relaxed again when he saw it was Levi.
"Hey brat, it's okay."

"No it's not, Levi, the girl you dated...what was her name?"
"It... was Petra." Eren knew it, of course it would be her, the only other person that Levi could fall in love with. Does that mean that he really did love her and not Eren? In their previous life Levi and Petra were engaged so that only made him think that Levi wanted her back more. He got up and pushed Levi off him and then went to the closest tree and hit it. Instantly Levi grabbed him and stopped him from doing anymore damage.
"Hey, stop, what do you think you're doing?"
"What I want, Levi I can't believe you didn't tell me, why didn't you? Is it because you still love her?"
" That's a hard question to answer Eren."
"No it's not Levi, just fucking answer me!"
"Yes, but not that way, not the same way I love you. She is important but you're everything to me Eren, I need you to believe me." Levi was being honest he really did love Eren and yes he cared about Petra but he only wanted Eren.
"I don't know Levi, maybe I just need to go back home and thinks some things out."
"No, Eren I need you here it's unsafe there, just come inside and we'll sort things out and I know it's hard for you to look at her but please just come back inside."
"Fine, but I'm not gonna forgive you just yet."
"That's alright." Levi and Eren walked back inside and sat down on the couch, Eren decided it would be best to go sit in the guest room, but he wanted to listen in on the conversation as well so he just hid in the hallway.
"So is that a friend of yours, that boy?"
"Umm,yeah, he's visiting ." 'Did Levi just lie about me?'
"Oh that must be nice."
"So why are you here, what happened?"
"W-well my boyfriend had been drinking and got carried away again and threatened me so I snuck out of the house and ran here."
"Why don't you leave him?"
"Because I have no one else, but I don't really love him anymore it's just been rough lately."
"Levi I miss you." 'Nah, bitch back off.'
Eren had heard enough he was getting pissed.
"I'm sorry Petra I don't feel that way about you anymore, I only care about you as a friend, nothing more, it's nothing against you I ju-"
"That's alright, I know I'll be okay." Petra just smiled and tried assuring him she was fine. "But do you think I could stay here tonight til I can get a hold of a friend?"
"Yeah, that should be alright, I can get a hold of Oluo for you."
Oluo? Eren hasn't heard that name in a while either but instead of listening anymore he decided to finally go in the guest room. Levi heard footsteps in the direction of his room and looked behind him and he could see a fluff of brown hair disappearing.
Eren was listening, he hoped he wasn't upset, but he left him be for a bit and went ahead to get a hold of Oluo and make Petra some tea and a snack.
Meanwhile Eren was in the guest room looking though his bag for something special. Eren pulled out something silver and shiny and made a couple of new cuts, the old ones still weren't completely healed. He cut a couple times, each cut for each word he felt. Worthless, Scum, Alone, Waste of space .
When he was done he hid the blade and patched up his arm with some gauze and just laid spread out on the bed. Eren let the tears roll down his cheek and put his hand over his mouth to muffle the crying.
Eren felt like shit, all these emotions were hitting him at once and he didn't know what else he was supposed to do, he did the first thing that came to mind which was cutting. He's been doing it for a while, it helped with everything at home and was a way for him to feel when he was just so..numb.
Levi knocked on the room door and when he got no reply he opened it to find Eren sprawled out on the bed, Levi walked up to him and moved the hair out of his eye and then caressed his cheek, that's when he saw it. There was gauze peeking out from under his sweater, Levi slowly lifted up the arm to see the damage. Levi was almost at the point of tears, he knew Eren had been beaten and traumatized but he never knew that Eren cut. Levi was going to wake him up but then he heard his name, Eren was talking in his sleep again.
Levi wanted to hear what Eren was saying, but because he couldn't understand he tried to lean in closer to Eren's face. He began to see the tiny little details , like his long eyelashes or the tiny freckles on his nose, Levi could also feel his breath hitting him on the neck and it was so tantalizing, he just wanted to kiss him but he knew that he couldn't take advantage of him.
Levi heard Eren start to speak again.
"Levi, I." Levi was trying to lean in even closer when the door slamming open caused both of them to jump up and connect at the head.
"Ow, Levi? What the fuck?" Levi was in just as much pain at the moment.
"What do you mean what the fuck." Eren just gave him a dirty look and then noticed something moving in the background.
"Umm, Levi why is she here?" Levi turned around to see Hanji with a nosebleed and fangirling.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Hanji was excitedly jumping up and down because of the scene in front of her which was Eren on the bed and Levi in front of him looking embarrassed.
"I was coming by to give you papers Comm- Principal Erwin wanted you to grade." Levi was relieved, that was a close call,she just couldn't keep herself together.
"Okay but why did you barge into my room instead of leaving them outside or something?" Hanji adjusted her glasses before continuing her explanation.
"Well you see, I knocked on the door and instead of you answering, Petra did and I got curious, then I asked where you were and she said your were in your room with your friend that was visiting...with Eren."
Now Levi understands, his best friend is a creepy ass psycho stalker that obviously needed help, so Levi was gonna get her that help. Levi grabbed something from under the nightstand, hid it behind his back and began to walk over to Hanji and then sprayed her with water. He had a spray bottle in there for plants or in this case intruders.
"Out,now." Levi continued to spray her until she was outside of the room and he swore he heard her hiss. When she was out of the room he slammed the door in her face and walked the other way.
"Hmph, fine I'll just wait out here."
"That's fine by me." When Levi turned towards Eren he saw how mad he was.
"Oi, what's your problem?"
"You, you're my problem in more ways then one."
"What did I do?"
"I don't know you tell me why you were just staring at me." That's right Levi forgot that he was just watching Eren before Hanji's crack ass appeared.
"I was checking on you to see if you felt any better."
"Yeah, I'm fine." Okay Eren was lying, if he was alright he wouldn't have done what he did.
"Well do you want dinner?"
"Already?"
"Eren, it's like six." Eren forgot he had fell asleep just how long was Levi there?
"Oh..right, well is Petra still here?" 'Fuck'
"She might be, possibly."
"Leviiiii!"
"What?"
"I thought she was leaving." Eren looked upset at this point, why was it such a big deal anyways.
"She will but Oluo can't get here till tomorrow."
"She's staying the night! That's it I'm leaving." Eren went to get up when Levi grabbed his arm and Eren flinched, Levi realized what he did and loosened his grip and pulled Eren on the bed instead. Eren was trying to fight back but Levi sat on top of him and wouldn't budge.
"Levi, get off you're heavy."
"Hey asshole first off I'm not heavy and second I'm not letting you go stay with that bastard."
"That bastard is my dad and I'm fully capable of handling him." No he wasn't he knew his but he didn't know what else to say he just wanted Levi off of him.
"At least wait until Monday please."
"Monday! I'll be dead if I'm not there tomorrow!."
"Eren, please just stay." Levi lowered himself onto Eren until he was laying on his chest and hugging him. Eren didn't want to go but if he didn't his dad would be twenty times worse.
"Levi...if I don't leave tomorrow, I'll suffer big time, obviously I want to stay since I'm the one that asked but what do I do, they are my parents and have right over me, this isn't back then." Levi didn't budge and wasn't planning on it anytime soon.
"I'll protect you, like before." Levi began to list how he has protected Eren.
"From the court, my squad, Annie, Mr.Reiss, Zeke... everything, I'm here I can protect you." Eren was crying he does remember all those times but then Levi disappeared.
"Then you couldn't protect me anymore and I had to learn how to defend myself.."
"I'm here now." Eren and Levi just sat in silence and didn't move from their position for quite some time.
