Chapter 15: Recovery

Eren woke up to a cold, dark room. He got scared and jolted up but pain coursed through his right side.

"H-hello? Anyone there?" He heard footsteps they were light and quick then the door opened and a sillouhette appeared.

"Hey kiddo, you feeling better?" It was Hanji bringing him a glass of water and a rag.

"How long have I been asleep, what's going on?" Hanji looked a little upset.

"You been out for a week hun, and when Levi elbowed you it hit your rib causing internal bleeding and putting you in shock." Holy shit Eren felt so bad and he's sure Levi felt worse.

"Where's Levi?" Hanji looked away, Eren wanted to know what she was hiding.

"He's um been staying somewhere else since he hurt you and he felt like it's his fault and was afraid you'd resent him after you woke up."

"Hanji where Is he staying?" Hanji didn't want to tell him.

"He's staying with the only person that will take him in right now...Farlan." Eren stood still for a minute and Hanji was worried.

"AHHHH!! DAMNIT!!" Hanji grabbed him and pulled him into a hug while he cried his eyes out.

"Hanji he left me again, I-im sorry I didn't mean to hurt him over something so fucking stupid, I want him back."

"Shh sweetie just let him take some time to recover and you do the same , you'll still see him at school and yes he's friends with Farlan but he loves you."

Eren calmed down and tried to pass the time by drawing and listening to his playlist.

Eren began with the face sketch and the outline of the haircut

Then he began to create the face and chin down to the neck and collar bone.

He started to do details along the eyes to give them that dark look and create the lips with a soft feel but rough look.

Eren put the finishing touches and shadows contouring the face and giving him a muscular look but with a gentle appearance. After that he signed the drawing and pinned it up.

I was never one to say goodbye...

The entire time Hanji watched him from the dark. Its like everytime he draws and plays his music he puts his heart and soul into it and it brings his art to life. Everytime she sees his art she feels the same as when she first looked at it.

Hanji walked away and dialed a number on her phone and let it ring, when it picked up she could hear mumbling on the other and was slightly disgusted.

"Stop- Hey Hanji what's up."

"Sorry to say this but you're kinda disgusting but love ya still."

"Okay let me try again what.do.you.want."
