I Found You

Chapter 25:Back To School

Eren was looking for Armin and randomly walked down the hallway he couldn't come to recognize. Everything had a sense of familiarity but nothing triggered any memories it was just a place that looked so modern to him. There were things hanging from the ceiling that shined more than 100 candles.

He was walking barefoot and could feel something soft under every step and he heard a loud noise coming from the room ahead , he carefully treaded into the larger more open space and there was a giant square flashing lights and booming sounds. He went to go touch it and another loud sound shot from it scaring him causing him to fall onto the soft cushion behind him.

"What the-?" Eren got back on his feet and situated himself he stared at the foreign machine. There were two people fighting on the screen and there was blood everywhere. Eren didn't like that very much, he turned into a dimly lit room connected to the open space he was just in. It had a large walkway that reached both the floor and ceiling , he hurried towards it and ended up smacking his nose on the walkway. He couldn't go through it and he seen a handle lower down he grabbed it slowly pulling it to the left. The clear panel slid to the side to reveal the actual outside. Eren waved his hand in the air just to double check. He stepped outside and closed his eyes as he took in the fresh air. He was just waiting for a titan to appear and crush Captain Levi's home.

He still doesn't understand what Levi meant. New life? They were given a second chance of some sort but what happened where everyone disappeared? He had so many questions but he was told Armin died too so he wouldn't know, at least he assumes. He knew he had Hanji and Mikasa but where were they?? And who was Hanji? He was told they were his friend as well but he was being very cautious right now. Currently everything was calm he didn't have to worry about any problems but Levi on the other hand looked like he had a lot of weight on his shoulders.

He was brought out of his thoughts when he heard shuffling behind him. It was Armin he was grabbing a book off the table, Armin looked at him standing outside. Eren turned and walked towards him intending to have a conversation. Except Armin continued back into the dark hallway..

"Okayy I guess I did something." Eren knocked a few times on a door in the hallway until he heard permission to enter.

"Yes kid?" Levi was on his bed shirt was halfway unbuttoned tie laid upon his shoulders and his hair was a hot mess he had black slacks on and black dress shoes.

"Umm Captain Levi what are you wearing?" Levi glaced up at him and Eren couldn't help but stare at his chest slightly showing.

"No...just...no what is wrong with you Eren!?"

"Eren please don't call me that for one. Im a regular person like you, I have no honorable status anymore. Two Im headed to work while Armin watches over you, you are both excused from school for today and I will be helping with your work until we figure out this...mess because the teaching nowadays is very different." Levi stood up and fixed himself up tying his tie and fixing his hair. He didnt feel like combing it so he's gonna look absolutely fantastic today. Sarcasm noted.

"Umm school?" Levi facepalmed.

"Its too much to explain right now, but just be good and stay out of shit you don't understand." Eren saluted and Levi decided to pretend he didn't see that. He waved Eren off and got in his car he entered the building and was greeted with Historia asking him if he was sick due to being missing for so long. He got Ymir' s attention so she could take the little blond into class.

Once he entered he seen everyone was present except for Armin, Eren and Marco. Meaning Mikasa was looking at the door waiting for Eren to walk through it. She watched until the bell ringed and neither of the boys had showed. She walked to the front of the class and asked to speak to Levi privately he told everyone what they were working on and left Farlan in charge for the time being.

In the back of the class Levi could feel Jean staring at him. They walked out and made sure the door was completely shut and walked into a separate hallway for extra measure.

"Where's Eren, Armin and Hanji? I noticed she wasn't here today." Mikasa looked extremely unsettled like there was a lot bothering her but she knew she'd have to leave the situation be right now.

"Well you see Armin is currently watching Eren at home because we had I guess what we would call an incident or something very very strange." Levi leaned against the lockers looking bored as usual.

"Incident?" Mikasa asked

"Well the day after you left, Eren, me and Armin were at home and Hanji left for a week, it was very sudden but they were stressed. So they are doing their own thing right now." Mikasa frowned a little

"Last night me and Eren were talking about everything and went to sleep...well when i woke up he was trying to bash my damn skull in with a bat. I had to tackle him to the ground and call Armin to help out." Mikasa was shocked to say the least. She was gone for a day and Eren is trying to fuck up shit. She just wanted to give them time , but now she is blaming herself for what is happening.

"What?" Levi pinched his nose in frustration he had one hell of a headache.

"Im not sure why but Eren doesn't remember anything after a certain point he completely forgot everything from this life and most of our last life." Mikasa covered her mouth in surprise

"Does that mean he doesn't reme-" Levi didn't need to hear it again.

"Yes he has no clue who i am, he's been calling me Captain all morning. He said the last thing he remembers was protecting you and Armin from Kit."

Mikasa thought back....that was so long ago, he forgot everything.. absolutely everything

"Oh god that's awful." Levi tried to ensure her they were trying their best to bring him back but tried to advise her to give him some more space. She understood and headed back to class. Jean watched them once again but nothing looked out of the ordinary, he just wondered where Eren was. He knew he would have to visit him again soon.
