I Found You

Chapter 23: He Knows

On their little walked they discussed many subjects about how they hated school and who set them off the most. They ran into Sasha and Historia running to go get coffee. Eren wasn't quite sure what Levi's destination was so he just followed the older man getting a great view from behind. They jogged for a bit longer until he could hear waves, he followed Levi for a bit longer and that's when the ocean came into view. They kept jogging past the dock past the people walking their dogs past the people taking pictures under an umbrella because during all of this it was raining. He didn't understand why Levi wanted to jog in the rain, but it was actually quite relaxing, it wasn't pouring down heavily it was a light mist just making it a little harder to see. After a couple more minutes they reached a cliff at the end of the shore where they stood no one was noticeable. Eren took a deep breath and about died on it when he heard Levi scream at the top of his lungs. He bent over heaving trying to catch the breath that got caught in his throat.

"Wh-What the fuck Levi!!" Eren huffed out still bent over feeling a little dizzy.

Levi went back to his calm demeanor in no time puzzling Eren on what the heck just happened. "I'm just letting off a little pent up emotion." Levi glanced at Eren.
"C'mon let off a little steam." Levi grinned and Eren stood up taking one more deep breath to let a scream out as loud as he could. His mind felt hazy as he let all his oxygen go free. His lungs were burning and he was inhaling so much rain water. It started to pour a little harder only soothing him more.
He put a lot of anger and regret behind his yell he could just feel the emotion bubbling up. He couldn't tell if he was crying or not because of the rain.

"Feel any better?" Levi put a hand on Erens back and said he was going to try something else and that he wanted Eren to also try. Levi took another deep breath in and this time he didnt just scream.

"I HATE HUMANITYS GOD DAMN GUTS!!" Levi grinned and told Eren to do the same.

"FUCK EM ALL, THEY PISS ME OFF!!"
Eren likes this exercise it was right down his alley. It was Levi's turn again.

"I MISS THE FREE WILL TO BE HAPPY!!" Eren felt that one was a little personal and pointed towards him. So he did it right back.

"I WISH I WAS AN ADULT!!" Levi a little stunned caught on to what he meant.
Eren decided he wanted to go again.

"I HATE MY DAD!! I HATE MIKASA!!" Eren was now saying whatever made him mad. Levi let him simply because it helps get stuff off of his chest and no one could hear them.

"WHY DID THIS HAPPEN TO US ALL!! WE DONT WANT A SECOND CHAAANCE!!" Eren had a couple tears mixed with rain water and the ocean mist run down his cheeks. That second one got to Levi and he just smiled at Eren.

"Eren you know we deserve this second chance....a million times over." Levi got closer to Eren and grabbed his hands. He wasn't gonna pass a boundary he just wanted to be there for the boy.
"But all i need is this one time for me and you...just to get the happy ending i want." Eren wide-eyed stared back at Levi, He's been acting so immature. Pushing Levi to break boundaries just to satisfy his lust. Levi just wanted to wait so that's what he will do. The only reason he ever got hurt by Levi was because he got with Jean for vengeance over something that happened in the past. He really was a child and Levi deserved better. He deserved the ending he wanted, and in all honesty he wouldn't mind coming back again and again for another chance to live a long life with his bestfriend.

Eren had taken the time to think about it all. At this point it was raining so hard he couldn't barely see or hear Levi. On the other hand it was calm. They sat there holding hands before Levi encased Eren in a warm hug. Even though it was freezing cold he could feel his warmth. It was booming with thunder but he could still pin Levi's heartbeat. .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . .. . . .. . .. He could tell this was making the older man nervous. His heart skipped a beat. That only made him smile more.
