A few years after the events from "SHIT TIS I,", Ian, now fully adjusting his accent, and losing his aggressive tone in the way he speaks.
While the phrase "It was summer, it was midnight." shows up again and again, Ian narrates his point of view as he experiences the spirit of a young girl haunting him. In the second chapter, Ian finally moves into the Beille residence above their family business; the meat shop. Shown in a scene is Jamie and Ian having an intimate relationship they discreetly keep. Later, while watching the news, his previous home has been taken down and a human remains kept in the cement were found. The bones are identified to be from young girl who went missing two years ago.
Ian shows mockery towards the dead girl, and reveals to be her killer.
*The "It was summer, it was midnight." phrase refers to the late summer night Ian had brutally murdered the young girl.
*Ian expresses relief and joy when he finally leaves his home to live with the Beilles. It is seen through his reactions that he has been bothered by the ghost's torment, but finally leaving the place made him free, and for the second time against the girl, he won.
