Chapter 11

Christan's POV

I storm out as soon as I see Jane and my dad. I head to my room and grab a few pair of jeans and a couple of t-shirts. I take my car keys and the key that was given to me by Charlie the day we buried my grandmother.
How can they do something so painful to me. I thought we were a family. I wonder how many times did they do this in my absences. I can't believe Jaydan did this to me after he encouraged me to give her a chance am sure this was his plan to get closer to Richelle all along and Richelle on the other hand is the last person who should be doing this to me. I fucken hate her, I hate them all. I exit the house when everyone is still at the guest room. I throw everything that I was holding at the back sits. I start my engine and head to my late grandmother's house. I get there and everything is still the same and when I exit my car I visualize the day I left this place. I knock on the door and Charlie opens.

"Chris what are you doing here?"

Can I stay with you for a couple of days please.

"It's okay you can stay, you can stay for as long as you want this is a family house and you are family as well."

I come in and head upstairs to elude Charlie. My room was still the same and nothing has changed. I lay on my bed till I fall asleep.I wake up and I wish I never did because I visualize everything that happened yesterday. I head downstairs and find Charlie making Tea.

"Morning Chris''. How did you sleep?

I slept okay what about you.

" You know this is not about me right."why did you come so late.

Yah I know it's just that I don't want to talk about it and please don't tell them that am here. Can you do that for me?

"I can't promise not to if they ask. I don't want to be caught up in this situation you have with your them."

Thanks Charlie. I'm going to the grocery store should I get you something?

You can bring me some beer that's all I can ask from you. Don't buy food because I already did some shopping so you can just cook and eat anything you want. Feel free this is also your home boy.

I head out and head to the grocery store.It feels good to drive to the grocery store, my dad should have given me this car long before when I was still staying here. I arrive at the grocery store and I buy what my uncle asked me to buy and I buy some toiletries for myself. I head home and I give him his beer and I head upstairs to take a shower. As soon as I was done I make breakfast and head to a clothing store. I buy myself a couple jeans,jerseys and t-shirts. I see Jane's car packed outside. I guess Charlie couldn't keep a secret. I get inside and Jane comes to hug me.

"Chris my boy I was so worried about you."

"Yah we were worried about you Chris."my dad says.

I'm not coming back there, please give me time to clear my head. A couple of months is all I need.

" Life has to move my boy you have to get over it. It's okay if you want to stay here for a while but you have to resolve this issue with Jaydan you can't be upset forever."

I head upstairs and I check my phone and I find many texts from Richelle and a few from Franceur. I take the key that was given to me and head to my car. I drive to my late grandmother's store room. I open the store room. I start looking at our drawings and when I pick up a drawing that my late grandmother loved a note falls from it and I pick it up. "Christan my grandson by the time you read this note I will be long time gone in your world but I want you to know that I will be looking after you just like I was when I was still in your world. I have kept a document that is worth millions in our secret place"The secret treasure". I smile when I think of that because I named it when I was still 13 years old. she used to laugh when I call out that name.I was given that money by your grandfather when he passed away but then it was too much for me because I was already old to fulfill my desires so I kept it for you so please use that money wisely. Take that document to the any bank and they will know what to do after asking for your initials. Love Nana.

Tears were already pouring out because reading that note felt like she was really talking to me. I open the "The secret treasure" and I find a small box with a document inside. I take the document and I get in my car and drive straight to the nearest bank so that I can find out how much I have. When I get there I give the document to the manager because I didn't want any mistakes. He told me to sign some papers and fill in some details. He then told me to go home the money will be transferred into my account within a couple of minutes.

I got in my car and waited for the notification and it was $257.8 million dollars. I was so ecstatic and I couldn't believe it. I drove home so that I plan on how to use it wisely like she said.

Richelle's POV

My phone rings and it's doctor Smith. I quickly answer because I've been waiting for this day.

"Miss Smith it's doctor Smith I hope you are having a good day.I have sent you the results of the DNA test and they are Negative. If you have questions you can quickly come to my office." He hangs up.

This means Christan is the father of this child and its been almost four months since he left and I wish he was here to see how his baby is doing. I think it's about time I tell his family about the pregnancy maybe they will tell him or give me his location so that I can tell him myself. I get in my car and drive to his house.

I knock on the door and Jane opens the door.

"Richelle what are you doing here." she looks at my tummy. Come in. How can I assist you.

I'm pregnant and it's Christan's child. I say that while looking at my feet.

"Are you sure about what you are saying?"It could be Jaydan's child.

She says that to remind me of what happened the last time I was here. I have done a DNA test with the help of Jaydan and it came negative with his DNA.

" Ohh I see, so how can I help you."

Can you please let him know about his child.

"Am sorry I can't be the one doing that but I can give you his address so that you can tell him yourself, I don't want to be part of it. She stands up and writes an address on a piece of paper."

I stand up and I thank her for helping me and she leads me out. She's so kinds and caring. I wish I had a good relationship with her. It's a bit late so I head home so that I can rest. When I get home I find Franceur sleeping on the couch and he wakes up when I walk past him.

"Hy sis, did you manage to get his contacts"

I shake my head in disapproval and he looks a bit disappointed but I got his address.

"That's good news then at least he will know."

Yah that's if he believes that am carrying his child. I know his still upset about what I have done to him.

"Hy don't worry it will be okay."

I head upstairs so that I can sleep am not feeling hungry anyways. I wake up and I head downstairs. I wish I was going to work instead of waking up and doing nothing. I make breakfast and eat. I'm sure Franceur is at school. I relax a bit before I can take a shower so that I can meet Christan. I wonder what will he say. As soon as I was done with everything I exit the house and I start my engine and drive to Christan's place. When I get there I'm surprised to see a gargantuan house that looks like a palace surrounded by security guards. As am driving towards the house I could see four security guards following my car. When I exit my car they just lead me in and when they opened the door everything inside screamed wealth. The were maids moving up and down. I was then taken to his office where he was. I knocked on the door and a voice from inside shouted come in. He was still the same man I saw when my knee was bleeding.

"I have nothing to say to you and I believe you don't as well so please escort this lady outside I think she's lost."

Please just hear what I have to say. I'm sorry for everything okay but you can't punish your child because of my mistakes. He turns his attention to me after those words.

" What did you just say"

I'm pregnant with your child.
