When my heart wants to fall,
forgetting she's shattered herself so many times before.
As my brain holds her hostage,
trying to save her from herself.
Never does she listen
Her brain: brutal and gritty. Always on the defense.
But her heart, regretting it all
runs back to the cliff that destroys her
and jumps.
How stupid.
