*3 years Later*

I sat by the porch, watching as Sophia ran around and tried to catch butterflies in her little hands. She was happy and jumped every 2 seconds, giving out her cute little chuckles. I had given birth to her almost 3 years back, and she still was the light to my life.

A lot had happened in the past years. I had gone back to university, to finish my studies so I could start working. I finished it a month ago, but I'm taking a break to spend time with my daughter. She has gotten very close to her aunt Charlotte, who lived with us now. Everything seemed happy and content, but I was still scared. Scared that someone is wanting to hurt me.

Nathan and I were still going strong. The band has rocketed to the sky, and everything is a massive success for them. I was happy and lads came by every now and then to play with Sophia. She liked them a lot as well.

I tried to be strong for my daughter, but I still have frightening visions in my head where someone is trying to kill me. Nobody, except Nathan, knew about this. He might think I'm crazy or have mental instabilities. But the fear has started to grow inside me like blood cells. They had now become an unwanted part of me.

"Mum! Why don't these butterflies like me?" Sophia asked in her cute little voice. I pulled her up slowly and placed her on my lap.

"Soph! Butterflies love you. But they are meant to fly sweetie. They don't like being grabbed by us. You see they don't hurt us, and we shouldn't hurt them. ok?" I asked as I kissed her cheek.

"Okay mommy." She giggled on my lap. Immediately a car pulled up and Nathan got out of it. I smiled as I saw him and he walked slowly to us. He grabbed Sophia and spun her in the air, leaving her in fits of laughter. He sat down next to me with her on his lap and kissed me sweetly.

"I have a surprise for you today." He whispered in my ear.

"What is it?" I asked

"It wouldn't be a surprise, if I told you! Now would it?" He chuckled.

"Get ready by 7!" He kissed my cheek.

"Should we bring Sophie along?" I asked.

"She is spending time with her aunt Charlotte. Aren't you Soph?" He kissed her tummy as she giggled happily.

By 7, I was ready like Nathan asked me to be. He was ready too, waiting by the car. I made sure everything was ready for Sophia as I carried her to Charlotte's room.

"Take care of her and yourself." I smiled and hugged Charlotte.

"Yes. And Eve." She called as I was walking away.

"Nathan won't hurt you." She said, which left me surprised. But I nodded and left so that Nathan wouldn't have to wait.

I walked down, and Nathan smiled when he saw me. He had a bunch of roses in his hand, which he passed over to me like a shy boyfriend. I took them and kissed him on the cheek.

"Thank you babe." I smiled.

He seemed nervous, and sweat was forming on his forehead as we walked to a lake close to our house. His hand was tightly intertwined with mine.

"Are you alright?" I asked him. He didn't seem very well to me.

"I'm fine." He said hesitantly. I pulled his hand so that he was now facing me.

"I can tell when you are uneasy. Nathan we don't have to do this if you're not feeling ok with it. We can just go back home." I touched his cheek. He took my hand and kissed it. He then intertwined it with his hand again as we continued walking.

Very soon, we reached a place, where he had laid down a small candle lit picnic for us. It was so sweet. I looked at him and kissed him softly before thanking him. We sat down and just spoke for a long time. I was so happy to be around him. It was always like an escape from the world.

Very soon, we were walking back home. But then Nathan stopped in his tracks.

"I'm going to do it now." He spoke softly, and I was a little shocked. I didn't really understand what he meant. But soon, I was aware of what he was doing when he got down on one knee and took out a box from his pocket.

"Nathan.. no.." I whispered close to tears. He knew I was scared. He knew everything, but he was still doing this.

"You have to listen to me Eve. I love you! I've never loved someone like I've loved you. You make my life. I know you are scared, and I know I'm scaring you right now. But I can make things right for you. I want you to believe that you will always be safe with me. I want you to know that I won't let the smallest thing hurt you, because I love you. You deserve to be happy Eve. I want to be the one making you happy" He spoke softly. His voice trembled in the end, and I knew he was going to cry too.

"I love you Nathan." I said as I leaned down in front of him.

"Marry me? I promise, I will keep you safe." He whispered and I shushed him by placing my lips on his. I pulled away and cupped his cheeks with my hands.

"Will you marry me?" He asked, as a small smile crept on his face.

"Yes." I nodded as a faint tear rolled down my cheek. He slid the ring down my finger as we both got up. He pulled me by the waist and kissed me passionately. I wasn't scared anymore, knowing that Nathan was my strength. He was now my family, with Sophia and Charlotte, and he could never hurt me. I knew that. I trusted him.

Trusting the right people can always ignite good fires in your heart, that you can never forget. That night, knowing that I was going to finally marry Nathan, made me the happiest girl in the world. I may not be normal, but being around Nathan always made me feel like everyone else. He was my star, and will always be brighter than the ones we see in the skies.
