I shake my head frantically.
"No?" He twists his head, locking eyes with me.
His eyes darken as they get lost in my deep eyes.He chuckles, stroking my rosy red cheek and slowing brushing down my shoulder, arm and eventually my hand. He reaches for my red apple I was holding. He snatches it out of the hand and take a large bite out of it.
Narrowing my eyes, I push him off of me and storm off towards Chuck, who was reading a book.
"Hey Chuck." I say with a huff.
He stares me down and sees me upset."What's wrong?" His worried expression seemed to brighten me up at the slightest.
"Gally's a jerk. Anyway, what you reading?" I smile, focusing my interest somewhere else.
"It's not a book, y/n." He chuckles, reading more on.
"Sure looks like a book Chuck." I laugh, stealing the pages off of him.
He just lets me have it.
It's a diary?
"A diary?" I suggest towards him, feeling guilty about prying at his personal life.
"Yes. Can I have it back?" I swiftly give it back to him, without memorizing any memory.
It felt like an entirety of silence until I spoke up.
"Do you think I should write a diary?" I tap a pen against a free, pink, leather book.
He chuckles and nods his head.
I smile breathlessly.
*
I hid my 'diary' under the blankets on my hammock. I didn't really write much, so there wouldn't be much to be profound, only the fact that I own a diary. The screech of the grievers always makes me jump out of my skin, never making me comfortable or safe.
Minho, Thomas and Ben are trying to figure out how to 'map' the maze, but I don't really listen at the meetings when they talk about boring running 'retreats'.
"We need to find a way to gain at least one griever." Minho says, explaining to Alby and the other gladers.
I roll my eyes and huff lightly.
This is so bloody boring.
Gally nudges my arm as I almost drift off to sleep. My eyes flutter as my name was firmly called upon on.
"What?" I murmur, crossing my arms with one eye open.
"Do you understand?" Ben furiously asks me.
I nod wildly, clearly not understanding.
Gally snorts, covering his mouth with his hand."Shut up." I whisper loud enough only for Gally to hear me.
Everyone leaves the room, leaving me alone in the room with Gally.
"What the shuck was he talking about?" I eagerly query him, almost begging to know.
Gally shakes his head and clicks his tongue loudly. He tuts with power and his dark eyes turn to me.
"Should've listened y/n." Gally turns his back on me, almost heading out of the door.
"You just called me by my actual name." I scoff and swing my hands over my mouth, giggling.
"Crap." Gally mutters under his breath.
I laugh uncontrollably, his body shifts towards me, dragging his loud feet against the floor.
I snort loudly and scoffing as he becomes close to me.
I narrow my eyes with a smirk smeared on my face.He grabs my arms and pushes me against the wall. His breath heavens, grabbing onto both my arms and pinning them against the wall with aggression. I close my eyes tightly, really hoping he wouldn't hit me, but stay standing with a smile on my face.
"Are going to stop smiling or will I have to fuck that pretty little smile off of your smug face?!"
