I wake up by the sound of boys laughing and surrounded by breakfast that Frypan cooked freshly.
A tall figure sits beside me and hands me a cup of freezing water.
"Good morning." Gally smiles, brushing the hair out of my face as I set myself upright.
"Morning." I take a sip of the drink, the condensation drips down my hand, making me shiver.
"Have you figured out what type of job you want to do now?" Gally murmurs, taking the drink out of my hand and placing it beside me.
I shake my head and pull a hoodie over my head.
He nods, holding out his hand to help me out of bed, I take it and hastily keep my hand to myself as Minho comes running towards us.
"Hey lovebirds, how's your knuckles?" Minho's attention attends on mine.
"It's fine, didn't hurt." I fold my lips in and sway my hips forward and backward, awkwardly.
"You want some breakfast, Fry made a lot." Minho laughs silently.
I nod quickly furrowing my eyebrows.

I park myself in my normal seat, noticing that Chuck was nowhere to be seen."Where's Chuck?" I seem worried, taking a small bite of my breakfast in front of me.
"You don't know either?" Alby sits beside me with his head in his hands.
I slowly shake my head.
...
"Did any of you even try look for him?!" I fold my arms.
...
"You guys are so stupid. Why didn't you go find him?!" I yell, walking off with a huff.
Gally chases my tail.
"Where are you going?!" Gally grabs my shoulder, trying to stop me from going into the forest.
"HEY! Don't go in there y/n. It's not safe." Gally demands.
"But Chuck's either in here or in the bloody maze, so which would you rather me go in?!" He huffs as I march into the dark forest.
The forest doesn't really have much life to it, not like the beautiful, tropical forests you see in the movies. It was foggy and hard to make out anything surrounding you.
There was moss crawling up trees and dead insects under the dirt beneath. The trees above were incredibly tall, taller than a normal oak tree would be portrayed as.
"Chuckk!" I yell for him, trying to make my way through the fog around me.
I wail once more for him and I could see torn pages left in the dirty stream that flows across the forest.
Picking up one of the pages, I notice Chuck's handwriting straight away, it looked like it had come from his diary.
A small whimper appeared from the tall tree above.
"Chuck?" I mutter comfortable and loud enough for him to hear me from how high he is up on the tree.
"Hey buddy. Are you ok?" Sympathetically I murmur, standing below the tree stump.
"I'm fine." His voice cracks with his eyes puffy red, from not having enough sleep and crying.
"Why don't you come down and we'll talk about this, alright?" I announce, worried about his safety.
He shakes his head frantically to avoid eye contact with me.
"Why not?" I try to calm him down, touching the tree only slightly, close enough for comforting him.
"Because it's my fault your diary was crossed over the glade." Chuck feels guilty and upset.
"It's not your fault, I know you accidentally kicked it out of the bottom of my hammock." I convey, flashing a light smile towards him and furrowing my brows.
Chuck didn't say anything for a while, I tried calling for him to get down but he refused to come face to face with me.
*
"Chuck, please get down. It's really not safe for you up there!" I shriek once again, rubbing my temples. He closes his eyes tight and clenched his fists against the old tree.
He exhales, slowly climbing down from the tree. I support him by holding out my hands, just in case he may fall.
The second both feet of his are supported on the ground it throw him into a long hug.
He burrows his head in my chest and I hug him deeply.
"I should really be thanking you." I pull away from he hug and look him in the eyes.
"Why?" He laughs, fluttering his eyes for how exhausted he is.
"Guess who I got to punch." I gasp excitedly, wrapping my arm around his shoulder as we walk out of the woods.
"Who?" He expresses, looking at me with a shock face.
"Thomas." I say through my teeth and he swings his right hand over his mouth, tightly.
"No way." He laughs hysterically.
I nod frantically, laughing with him.

Dear Diary,Chuck's such a baby brother to me. If anything were to happen to him, it would happen to me.
Minho is my best friend and most likely my platonic soulmate.
Newt is a dear friend, I know he'd never betray or leave me in a way so threatening.
And Gally. Not much to say about him so far.
I guess we'll see how it goes.
Hopefully he sticks.
