"Is everything a go for this evening?" Kookie asks as Tae listens to the call.
"Yes, it's a go and we'll be there in an hour. I think it's important that we don't raise any suspicions, or it won't go well. I have the same concerns as you and Tae."
Tae leans forward and responds. "I think we all recognize there's an issue. I think Kookie should take lead on this when we gather. Let's see how it goes."
"I agree with that. I'll see you both in an hour."
The call ends and Kookie nervously releases a deep breath as he presses his back into the couch. He rubs his hands together while pushing his tongue into his right cheek. Tae recognizes these signs of anxiety and slides next to his husband.
"Kookie, we need to address this. There's something going on and it's not healthy." Kookie nods slowly as he presses his lips tightly together.
"I know Tae, but I feel scared. What if this makes things worse."
"That's a risk we have to take. Worse would not be good. We have an hour so I'm going to get some work done."
"Tae, you've been at work all day and I want to spend time with you. Tomorrow evening, I won't see you." Kookie pouts as he looks at his husband.
"Kookie, I don't usually work when I get home, but I need to review a few emails before my big meeting tomorrow. I leave at 5:00 am to get home in time to do baths and put the twins to bed with you. I know this has not been an easy assignment for you but it's short term. I just have a month left." Kookie pulls in a deep breath and then releases it.
"Tae, are enjoying your work?"

"Kookie, I really am. This is a team of some of the smartest and most creative professionals that I've worked with in the business." Kookie sees how his husband comes alive talking about his current project. Tae's smile says it all. He's a good man and Kookie will put his needs aside and support his husband.
"Okay Tae, if you're happy, I'm happy. I just miss you being here. I'm usually busy with work, and now I have some down time, I want to fill it with you and our children." Kookie leans over and kisses his husband's temple.
"You know what? Those emails can wait until later." Tae smiles as Kookie feels butterflies in his stomach. After all the years they have been together, a smile from his husband still makes him soft.
"No, read your emails because I don't want you distracted. After our meeting maybe we can spend some time together," Kookie says with a sexy smirk that Tae reads right away as he softly squeezes his thigh.
"Oh, that would be nice. I miss your sexy body baby. Let me get these emails done, and once our meeting is over, I'll race you to our bed."
"Sounds good to me." Kookie watches his sexy husband as he rises and heads to his office.
