The party continues with the guests gathered in the kitchen enjoying the delicious spread of food.
"Tae, why is Umi refusing to eat her creamed spinach? Now Mini won't eat his."
"Eat, eat dada!" Umi says.
"I know sweetie. You like your creamed spinach." Kookie brings the spoon to her mouth.
"No!" Umi shouts and pushes the spoon away.
Mini scrunches up his face as Tae offers him his creamed spinach too.
"Tae this is not normal. Umi's a good eater She ate a whole jar of her creamed spinach yesterday. What happened?"
"Uh Kookie, their doctor said they are ready eat other food items now. But you refuse to change their diet."
"Why are you bringing this up now Tae? What does this have to do with Umi refusing her spinach?" Kookie says with a hint of suspicion.

Just before Tae can say anything, Jackson walks over. "Hi cutie pie! Uncle Jacks brought you some more buttered yams. Just like your papa gave you earlier. Mm good." Kookie's mouth falls open as Umi bounces and claps. Jackson smiles and walks away.
"Eat, eat dada! Umi Eat, eat!" She then opens her mouth. Kookie's eyes grow in size as he turns to his husband.
"Tae! You didn't!"
"Shit! That Jackson has bad timing."
"Shit!" Mini says!
"Tae!" Kookie shouts, as Umi starts to cry as she tries to get to the yams and, of course, Mini scrunches up his face and starts to cry.
"F-U-C-K!" Tae spells.
"Yeah, you're right about that!"
"Well, I gave her some yams earlier and she really likes them. They are good for her, and they only have a little butter and no sugar JB said. Also, yams were on the list of safe foods the doctor gave us a few months ago."
"What? Why would you do that Tae!"
"Because it's time for them to advance forward Kookie. They are toddlers now. Still babies but toddlers. Baby, it's time." Tae says in a soft voice and rubs his husband's arm.
"Tae, I know but they are growing too fast, and I-I just want them to stay babies a bit longer." A tear travels down Kookie's cheek and Tae wipes it away with his thumb.
"I know Kookie. But we will have many years to come with our children. There will so many other things to do and experience with them as they grow. We can enjoy them and still support their growth in healthy ways." Kookie nods reluctantly, but knows his husband is right.
"Okay Tae." Kookie gives Umi a scoop of buttered yams and she immediately giggles.
"Mmm, dada." Mini watches his sister and opens his mouth as papa gives him yams. He starts to clap.
