"Jimin, what about you and your handsome husband? Do you plan to have any children? Please don't take offense. Parenthood is not for everyone," Nora says with a friendly smile.
"That is true." Ming-Jin says. "But what about you Jimin?"
"Nora, no offense taken at all. My husband and I agreed that we would not have children. In the first three years of our marriage, I was all good with it. But when my friend here," he says looking over to Kookie holding precious little Umi, "started talking about having a child I started to think more about it." Jimin's eyes get wet as he clears his throat and swallows. "But the moment I held those two-week-old twins, I knew I was missing out. How would I tell my husband that I wanted a child, and what would this mean for our marriage?"

Kookie's mouth falls open. Jimin has never said anything about this before. He just knows that he loves Umi and Mini. He feels a lump in the back of his throat as he swallows back his tears and looks down at his daughter, as Jimin continues.
"My husband not only did not want children, he didn't like them or so I thought. He's not always the most accepting person when it comes to new experiences. I decided to have a conversation with him and tell him how I was feeling. He does love me, but I didn't want him to do something he really didn't want to do. I knew that would not be good for our marriage. But before I could get up my nerve for this conversation something happened."
"What was that Chim?" Kookie asks, as Nora and Rani move to the edge of their seats. Jimin chuckles and smiles.
"My husband had a few encounters with our friends' two adorable children: Bai and her little brother Jae-joon. The children started to seek him out when they saw him. Little Bai is a very special and precious little girl. She's smart and very social. She and her brother would follow my husband around and ask him questions. I noticed that after each encounter my husband would talk about these little ones. One day he started to laugh a bit. I finally realized that he liked them, although he didn't say that. I know my husband. Then the twins were born, and I watched over time as my husband's heart slowly started to open."
Nora takes a tissue and passes the box to the others as they all quietly listen to Jimin.
"I decided to just let these little ones continue to work on his heart. There are no words that I could say that would be more powerful than the magic that all of these children were working in his heart. Last week I had that conversation with him, and he listened. He smiled and said for me to give him time. That was a good response and moving in the right direction. So, to answer your question Nora, Yes, I want to have a child, badly. I think we'll get there in time." Jimin takes a tissue and wipes his eyes while the group is speechless.
Kookie clears his throat and responds. "I had no idea Chim. I-I just didn't know. Why didn't you tell me?"
"Kookie it was too painful to talk about until I knew if it was possible for me and Suga. You were so happy with the babies, and I didn't want to show you my sadness. My envy. I should have talked to you about it and I'm sorry."
