I had my Colt Python ready to shoot. It was loaded with six bullets. Chloe, Kelly, Ryan, Katie,Trevin, and I had our guns ready to fire. We broke into a store and it was clear. "It's clear!" Katie shouted. Then Max, Diego, Kari, and Brendan walked inside and took as much supplies as they could. We broke into a couple more stores and we were full of supplies now. Izzy and I later on took some more ammunition and guns from another store not too far from our small campsite. "I wish I could see my family." Izzy said. "Don't bring me down, that's our mission. We have to and will find our families." I said. "That was our main goal nine months ago, I've been keeping track of the days. Tomorrow is New Years." Izzy told me. It started to snow a little bit before midday showed up. About half a days worth of hours were left until New Years. Then, I saw him once more. My time was now. He took his gun and started shooting. "Watch out!" I yelled as I pushed Izzy down into some nearby dead plants. Jacob was shooting at all of us. "Gillian we need help!" I yelled and she gathered Diego and Max. They stood behind some cars and shot towards the group of corrupt people. Gregory took a bat and swung at a walkers head and knocked it off. Chloe and Elise ran to me. Chloe was holding her bat and Elise was holding her pistol. "What do we do?" Elise asked. "Lure his group somewhere away from Jacob himself. I'm going to end this." I told them. Chloe called Kinsey to help us take Izzy to safety. But the bullets getting shot everywhere was too dangerous for anyone to get to us. "I'll get Jacob." I said. "I'm coming with you then." Chloe said. "Me too." Izzy added. "Alright. Let's go." I said. We made our way behind a building and through the parking lot. Steven was still standing next to Jacob and a few walkers revealed themselves. Then more showed up... then too many of them were around to be able to see the group. I heard gunshots and saw the guns shoot bullets creating that spark that signified that it had been fired. I saw Jacob just ahead of me and he was pointing his gun towards Jessica. I tackled him down and punched him in the face. My fist was bloody and I hit him with so much might. He filled me with such anger that I felt like I needed to kill to feel better. He then regained his strength and I saw that Chloe and Izzy were covering us. Walkers were everywhere and they shot down as many as they could. I took out my hammer and hit Jacob's rib cage. He took out his knife and went for my neck. I put my forearm out to prevent him from getting to me. Chloe was rammed down by four walkers and she shot one of them. Izzy shot them and saved Chloe. "I'm gonna help Esai!" Izzy yelled. "Alright I'll cover you!" Chloe announced. She took out her knife and ran to Jacob. Then Jacob reached for my gun. It was either me or Izzy... I chose me. I punched him and he slipped and cut my shoulder. Out of luck, I was able to take my gun. He reached for my hammer and hit my across the face with it. "Izzy!" I heard someone scream. I was pretty sure it was Chloe, but I couldn't get good vision. It was all blurry. I looked and saw Jacob take my gun. He pointed it at Izzy and fired. I saw blood come out from in between her chest and stomach. She collapsed on her knees and fell into a lying position on the ground. Chloe ran to Izzy and tried to keep her awake. I got up and rammed into Jacob's stomach and we fell down a hill and fought once more. The walkers at the top were cleared away but the bottom was still dangerous. I heard less gunshots, but couldn't understand if that meant we were losing... or if we were winning. Jacob took out an ax and swung at my prostatic leg. He didn't do much to it except crack it a bit but I was able to get up. I had my fist ready to hit so I did. He started to choke me and pinned me against a wall. He punched me in the stomach a couple times and then a gunshot fired. His shirt began to bleed in his chest and he fell down on his knees. He looked at his bloody torso, lots of walkers were heading our way. It was too dangerous for me, for Chloe, or for Jacob... so we left him. She was holding my shotgun and dropped it. She helped me move. Then we saw the group at the top of the hill. Steven was sitting down with a gun to his head. "I promise I didn't hurt anyone I just want to join your group, please." He said. "Don't shoot him. I have to see Izzy. Is she okay?" I asked. Then I saw her laying down on the ground, she had no movement and her blood was not coming out. The snow was now red around Izzy. She was gone. I took out my gun and held back my tears. "I'm sorry Izzy. You were like a sister to me. Thank you for everything that you've done for us..." I pointed my gun at her head. I pulled the trigger and cried. She could be with her family now. It was New Years morning... she's in a better place. I did what needed to be done, for me... and for her.
