I heard the gun click as he pointed it at my head. "You son of a bitch left me for dead, and so did the others in my group... and now I'm gonna leave you for the dead." I lowered my hands and thought to myself. This isn't the end, that can't be the end, I can't die like this... not like Michael, Brett, or anyone else. "Go ahead. Shoot me." I told him. He pointed his gun right in the middle of my back. I untucked my shirt while I had time as I faced the tree, and I slowly took out my knife. I took it and held it tight. I finally swung down and luckily got his leg. I moved and he fired at the tree trunk. I let everyone hear the gunshot. "I have others and they're gonna kill you." He said as he took a flare gun and shot at the sky three times while the sky was still slightly dark. Then I heard ruffling in the woods. I picked up my gun and made my way through the woods. I ran back to the group with my knife. I waved at them to warn them. Then I finally got there. "What the heck is happening!" Julia asked. They all started asking questions and then Max pulled out his rifle. "Chloe!" I shouted as she looked and passed me my shotgun. I cocked it back, pointed it, and shot. Five people came running at us. It was Jacob, Steven, Gregory, George, and Hudson. They were all armed and continued to run at us with their guns pointed. Then when Hudson was about to shoot us a gunshot fired and he fell down in pain with a bullet cemented into his left leg. Haley shot him. Then the rest of the group was there. They all attacked with us and then Gregory punched Katie in the face. She fell down and spit blood into the grass and looked back up. Caitlyn helped her up but then a gunshot fired and Caitlyn fell down. She was shot in her shoulder by George. We all got away after a while. Max and Diego had their guns up and helped us keep watch as we moved through the woods. We finally made it to the mall by night. It was dark and we set up another small camp. Gillian stayed up most of the night with Kari and Kelly. The three girls watched one side, and Ryan, Max, and I watched the other side.
