I dropped my hammer, fell to the ground, and my eyes filled with tears. "What?" Chloe said to me as she got up from under a couple dead walkers and picked up her pistol. Tommy then got up with a pistol. I then realized that Chloe wasn't the one who was dead. "He pushed us through the group of them... he sacrificed himself for us." She told me. Kyle wasn't there. He was dead. "I'm sorry Tommy." I told him. "Kyle... he's gone. My one and only friend is... gone." Tommy said. "Let's try to find the others." I said. We decided that we would go search for everyone else. Tommy was still bleeding but able to stay up with the two of us at his side. We traveled for about an hour or so and then he spoke. "I can't do this... just leave me here. Right by this tree." He told us. "We're not going to leave you." She said. "Why not? I lost a hand, my best friend is dead, and I can't do anything anymore." Tommy added. "No! You can't just come into someone's life, try to kill them, get saved by them, and then just leave after eight months." Chloe shouted. "Yes I can." Tommy said as he gave Chloe his backpack. "Here." He told me as he gave me his gun and knife. He sat down by a tree and waited. "You guys go... before the other walkers notice us." He told us. He left the cloth on his wrist and Chloe and I continued walking. About four hours later it began to get dark. "C'mon we're burning daylight." Chloe said. "Chloe..." I said as I pointed ahead of us. "Shit! Let's go!" Chloe said to me as we ran. I took my gun and pointed it in all directions. We finally found a house and walked inside. Then I saw that more were inside and they were all missing hands. "Let's go!" I shouted. Chloe and I ran outside and we were cornered the only thing we saw were walkers. We were up against the fence and had no escape. Then as one walker came to bite me. Its head exploded right in front of me. Then they all started to fall down. Blood was everywhere and I looked up. It was Ryan, Julia, Sylvia, Max, Trevin, and Diego. They were all standing right in front of Chloe and I with rifles and pistols. "Esai... Chloe? Is that really you?" Julia asked with a soft toned voice.
