Elise took her knife and stabbed Maddy in her head to end her misery an hour later. "She's been with us since the beginning I don't know how to even respond to it..." Elise told me. "I'm sorry. We didn't know her as well as you but she was a good person it's sad to see her die like this." I said. She had no response. She picked up her pistol and walked away. Bella and Sophia came up to me. "Hey, I heard about Maddy." Sophia said. "Ya..." I said. Bella started to tear up and covered her mouth. She started shaking and fell down. "It's okay, shhh it's okay." Sophia said as she hugged Bella. Bella had been with them for a long time and though they were like strangers to her, she became extremely close to them. I picked up my gun and started to walk with Gillian for a while. I heard noises in the woods. I lifted my gun and Gillian lifted her crossbow. We pointed them in all directions. "It's comin' from this way." Gillian said as she started to walk over there. We saw a walker eating a person. I looked down and it was Dawson. He was missing a hand. "Oh my god." The walker was eating him to the bone. I stepped back and a hand covered my mouth and I was being pulled back. So was Gillian. I moved around and then and bullet fired in the distance. The man who was holding Gillian fell down. Then I realized it was Cade. Whoever was behind me let go to see what was happening. Then I figured out that Chase was trying to help Cade. I looked back and Max was standing there with his rifle. "What did you do?" Chase yelled as he looked at Max. "You were attacking my friends, and I only shot him in his shoulder we can help him." Max said. "Thanks Max." I said. Gillian helped them get Cade up and then Chase said something. "Wait, what about Dawson we need to find him. We lost him and we have to get him back." Chase said. "He's dead." I said. "What?" Chase said in confusion. "We saw him at the bottom of that ditch without a hand and he was being eaten." I added. "We have others." Chase said. "But you have to save Cade first." He said. "He's not gonna die we just have to give him stitches, he'll be alright." Gillian said to Chase. "Max, where's the group?" I asked. "They're still back at camp Elise has been missing though." Max said. "Alright take Cade back, I'll go with Chase to see his people." I said to them. "Alright if you're not back by midday tomorrow we'll come looking for you." Gillian said. "Alright. See you tomorrow." I said as I followed Chase.
