Chapter 11 - I Get A Tattoo And It Freaking Hurts!

When Keira came back, she was holding a...strange creature...no, she was holding an alien.

The creature looked like two pudgy balls glued together. I focused on the small ball first.

The small ball was a little unshaped towards the part where humans have chins.

A long stick-like thing was sticking on its head part. Slimy, long and navy blue hair was sticking around the long stick.

It had three holes in the small ball and a white structure was moving from one hole to another like it was traveling through a tunnel.

A much bigger and more flexible hole was present under the three holes...

I felt like puking after describing the small ball. But I knew that this was just the trailer. The picture was still left.

Taking a deep breath, I focused on the big ball.

The big ball was actually...decent. It had three stick-like things (which I figured were its legs) sticking there.

"What is that?" I asked Keira.

"You should be more polite, Diane." she grumbled. "'Who' is 'she'? She is George. These creatures are called Mesonjo. They are usually used as messengers for magicians. I named mine George."

I gulped.

"Okay, so who are you gonna send a message?"

"Ruby Goshtav. I guess that you have learnt to attack and defend from her when you were younger.
She is an immortal and wise teacher hired by the gods. However, she could only be killed when she desires to die. She always desired to train magicians. But, she always had to change her identity.

She couldn't train two magicians together when they didn't know that they were magicians.
But, she could train two magicians if one of them knew that he/she was a magician.
Try to recall the teacher while I send a message to her."

Keira went to get a paper and pen. Then she began scribbling hurriedly on the paper.

I racked my brain. A teacher not from school. After five minutes, I suddenly remembered my training teacher, Monica Shaft.

"Done!" Keira yelled.

She grabbed an envelope from a nearby table and sealed the letter. Then she grabbed a nearby ribbon and tied it on the neck of George.

Then she carried it to a large trunk in the corner. Or, what I assumed to be a trunk.

A large sheet was covering it. When she uncovered it, I saw that it was obviously not a trunk. It was a large trunk-like thing. Inside it, a bluish-grey liquid rested. It looked gross!

Keira dumped George in that liquid. As soon as she entered the liquid, the liquid shimmered and bubbled. George disappeared.

"What-"

"That's the saliva of Hermes. Since he's the Greek god of messengers, his saliva turned out to be quite magical. It's called 'efsevés sálio' which is godly saliva in Greek. His saliva transports Mesonjo.

When a mesonjo travels, the saliva allows magicians to pass through it.

But after 5 minutes, the blessing is lost. If a magician tries to enter the saliva without the blessing, then the magician is burnt to ashes.
So when you receive a mesonjo, then read the letter as fast as you can and jump in the saliva. Otherwise, you'll be burnt away. And-"
