Gem had flown far and wide with her hastily crafted rockets but couldn't find two people. TinFoilChef and Nihachu.
She flew towards a strangely large starter base.
'That has to be a Hermit base. Scar and that Mumbo dude both said they build big stuff,' she thought to herself.Landing, Gem overheard the end of a conversation.
"Alright, Niki. You can stay here with me for a bit if you don't feel safe around your server's people. Stay for as long as you need! You didn't need to beg me to let you live here, though. I like the quiet life, but I would never turn someone away," a gentle, calm voice laughed.
"Thanks TinFoilChef, I'm glad that I could count on you right away," a soft German voice said gratuitously.
TinFoilChef...Gem knocked on the door.
It swung open to reveal two people.
One was a man with bright blue eyes and black clothes with a red logo on the shirt. It had just three letters. T, F and C.
The other was a dusty-pink-haired girl who had large brown eyes and a black sweater with white details."Good afternoon!" the man, presumably TinFoilChef, greeted. "What do you need?"
"Are you TinFoilChef?"
"Yes, I am. And this is Niki or Nihachu."
"Perfect," Gem said, grabbing the wristbands and elytras. "Here, these are yours."
"Thank you!" Niki smiled.
"Yes, thank you..."
"Gem. My name's Gem."
"Well thank you Gem," TFC said kindly."No problem. Just doing my job. You two were the last people I had to deliver to. I can only hope that Scar and Void left me some lunch... They probably won't if I don't head back soon, so see you two later!" Gem told them, preparing to leave for home.
"Wait!" Niki said. "I have some food. The three of us can share it."
"Sure, if Gem wants to."
"Of course! Thank you!"
"No problem, really," Niki said bashfully. The three shared a nice lunch together, learning about their servers.
Gem discovered how awful the Dream SMP was, with them having to set up a second server for some members as a form of therapy - that was where the Origins came from.
Hermitcraft was fun, everyone got along and cared for each other. Their server was a war-filled one, but it certainly wasn't war-torn.
