"Its rice again, sorry Mummy." I smiled weakly as my Mum looked vacantly at the walls of our small bedsit In Florence,Italy she was clearly thinking of Michael again, The longer we stayed put the more she thought of him. Right now we were staying put for ever as the virus that plagued this year encased us in Italy and my mum was not allowed to travel due to her mental health.
"We're here too long, Michael would of gone to a different country by now." my mum broke her silence with a weak cry as she rocked back and forward clutching the bowl of rice in her hands tightly but not eating a single spoon of it.
"Mum, eat the rice please, thats all i can afford from busking today, had to spend money fixing the keyboard." I handed my mum her spoon and tried not to look too worriedly at her, She said that look reminded her of Michael. "Also I have some big news!" I began to Smile, trying to contain my excitement. Mum looked up at me with a hopeful look.
"I sent a demo tape Into the Italian X factor and they want me In front of the judges Mika, Hell Raton, Manuel Agnelli and Emma Marrone!" I beamed ear to ear as I told mum my news. The second I mentioned the judges her face went as pale as freshly settled snow.
"Mi-" her eyes rolled to the back of her head and she fainted as her head hit the bed. I quickly jumped over to her but she was out cold, hopefully uninjured.
"MUM! oh god! I have to call an Ambulance!" I quickly ran out the bedsit and urgently called an ambulance before running back into the room. By this time Mum was stirring and she started mumbling.
"Mika Michael" She grumbled over and over again as I waited for the ambulance crew to arrive and whilst they loaded her into the ambulancia.
Those words MIKA Michael sat in the back of my head from that day onwards.
