time to go Back home

The next morning I woke up early with my suitcase and sat outside the front of Mika's house for him and the inevitable blacked out minibus to appear out of nowhere, I didn't have breakfast as the tension the night before just made me want to leave the house and go back home to my mum. If his sisters thought he was a terrible parent then maybe it would be true.

CLICK! A small but very noticeable sound  suddenly broke me from my trance. I looked over to see a member of paparazzi at the gate of the house. Great. Just what I need another picture making it look like I'm very unwelcome at Mika's house. I saw him take a few more pictures before the engine of a car could be heard which made him Hide. I guess even here mikas could not escape the most determined of press.

"Georgy!" Mika came bouncing out the front door with a coffee in his hand, seemingly not bothered about the tense situation last night. "Are you not coming inside for a few minutes? not even to say goodbye to my sisters? our rides gonna be here very soon!" he said rather joyfully for an early morning. I nodded my head and went inside to say goodbye to his sisters.

"Bye Paloma, Yasmine and Zuleika! I hope to see you all soon and Fortune too." I smiled as i ran in the front door and contained them in a big hug. "I really hope Grandma feels better soon and Grampa is well too!"

"Georgia?" Just before I left again Mikas nephew came running over he gave me a big hug with a massive smile to accompany it "I hope to see you soon big cousin!" he squeezed me tight before running back to Paloma.I left the house again as i heard a car pulling up to the gates I got a shock as the electric gates opened and instead of a blacked our car or van meeting me it was Andy driving a big silver 4x4, he grinned as Mika wrapped his arm round me and gave me a kiss on my forehead.

"I wish I could come with you but I don't think your mum would be very happy overcrowding the flat." he rubbed my arm a little. "Andy got himself a new car too, wanted to give you the honors of first passenger, I don't know how he drives it, I tried driving a car with a manual gearbox for Casa Mika but i was horrendous!" He giggled and I smiled, perhaps I should learn how to drive, i thought.

Andy got out the Land Rover and he and Mika started to help me load my cases into the massive boot. Melachi and Amira made an appearance and started sniffing around the car and walking all over the seats. eventually the car was all packed up and I got in the shot-gun seat. Mika walked up to the window and I rolled it down.

"I'll keep in touch as no doubt this concert is going to be massive and I can't do it without your help!" he gave me another hug through the window as Andy started the engine.

"Goodbye, nice meeting you!" I shouted out the open Window and waved at the pennimans as we left the courtyard and sped off down the road heading into florence.

"BARK!" I looked behind Andy's seat to see we'd accidentally brought a Dog with us.

"Amira, you little stow-away!" andy laughed, not even looking around, he clearly knew his dogs well. "Next stop, Florence city centre, and Amira, even you have to say goodbye!" and chuckled and turned up the radio, Coincidentally Mika's song, Stardust played over the radio.
