I wondered around behind the scenes for a good half an hour looking for anything to do, there were no instruments, most doors were locked and I didn't want to go out into the Rome streets as I did not want people hounding me, I know how much the Italians adored my Dad.

I decided to go to the canteen and get some snacks before heading off to Mika's Dressing room to munch on them and chill out for a bit and decide what to do whilst the long and boring Rehearsals went on and on. I got a slice of chocolate cake and a hot chocolate from the canteen and went over to Mika's dressing room, he had purposely left it open for me knowing my attention span wouldn't be great enough to sit in the empty audience spaces whilst rehearsals were on.

I monstered down the cake and drank the gorgeous hot chocolate, which may of been a mistake on such a humid and warm day as I soon found myself sleepy and too hot to be bothered doing anything, I stretched out on the little sofa In the dressing room and quickly dozed off into a nap in the humid air, clearly the aircon was turned off.

BRZZZ BRZZZ BRZZ I woke up to my phone ringing, I had it on do not disturb except for 3 people, Mum,Andy and Mika. I rubbed my eyes and coughed as my throat was dry and I was a little dazed by the heat.

It was Mum ringing, I answered almost immediately as the call was probably her missing me.

"Hey Mum, whats up?" I said slowly.

"Have you heard the news, turn on the nearest TV, Radio, anything, I'm currently watching BBC World News." She said down the phone in a fast paced voice. In the background of the call I could just about hear the TV in the background, the reporter was talking about some sort of explosion.

"Ok, I will ring you back later, I'll go put the TV in here on. Love ya." I said

"Ok talk soon." Mum put the phone down I scrambled for the remote for the large TV in the dressing room.

I found the remote and turned on the TV, the news was already on an Italian news channel and the title "EXPLOSION ROCKS BEIRUT." covered the screen as footage of the explosion started playing. It looked horrible, really horrible. Mika was born in Beirut, he had to know about this immediately. I ran out the room and sprinted towards the stage as fast as possible. Suddenly I ran into someone just before entering the stage area.

"Georgia?" Mika looked down at me confused as I stood back up and caught my breath. "Georgia, whats up?" he questioned me in a concerned tone of voice as all crew members walked away and gave us some space.

"Turn your phone off silent for once. Its Beirut!" I said gasping for breath, Mika pulled his phone out his pocket and his eyes widened and his expression turned to fear and shock. "Go to the dressing room, I'll be there in a couple of minutes." I nodded and headed slowly back off to the the dressing room, I turned my head just before going around a corner to see Mika sat on a box, talking to someone on his phone in french, trembling.

The wait for him to come back felt like forever. I wanted to call my Mum back but my voice was not coming out so I sent her a text telling her I had told Mika and that he was  a little shook but OK and that I would be home soon. She left the text on read. I was a little disappointed she didn't respond but she was, as ever, cold when bringing up the topic of Mika. Eventually he came back into the room.

"Georgia, in two weeks My sisters will be coming from france, we're going to decide what we can do to help with the Tragedy In Lebanon and I would be honoured if you helped us." He said to me, he couldn't look me in the eyes, probably due to the stress.

"I would love to help out, but we need to think of what to do right now, not in two weeks time, I saw this really cool fountain in a travel brochure, we can go there and think up some idea's right now, its called the  trevi fountain!" I said. "Its nice and peaceful due to covid and I think we need somewhere beautiful and peaceful right now." Mika nodded his head and I grabbed hold of his hand. "Its all gonna be ok, we will help Beirut." I spoke to him softly.
