It had been 30 minutes since Arya had told MJ she'd be at the cafe and the girl was starting to get worried. She decided to check her phone but to no avail.

"Hey Ned?," she spoke

"yeah?" he yelled from across the cafe.

"Did Arya text you in the last hour? She told me she'd be here and it's been half an hour I'm starting to get worried,"

"No she didn't, did you try to call her?,"

MJ nodded, "yeah I did, this is just so out of character for her. Not to mention, her location is off, it's never off, it's like she's wiped off the face of the earth."

Ned glanced towards his friend, "That's strange, I don't know. I'd give her a couple of hours maybe she'll show up,"

MJ nodded, "Yeah maybe,"

...

"It's like she's wiped off the face of the earth," Mj spoke, causing Peter to lift his head.

Peter had been going to the Cafe often, but to no avail, he was still too nervous to speak to the two. The only one he'd been in contact with was Arya, they had exchanged numbers after they had met at May's grave.

When MJ said what she did it was like a wave hit him, after the events of the previous month, someone disappearing like that only gave him one thought.

The portals.

But that couldn't be possible. Could it?

He was certain it couldn't, Strange had fixed the spell, hadn't he?

Peter racked his brain, it wasn't like he could visit Strange anymore, and he couldn't mention it to MJ or Ned, they would think he was crazy.

He figured he would have to do it himself. He'd figured out a way to open a portal, he'd have to find a ring.

Then it suddenly came to him. Ned. The ring. He might still have it. Peter would have to figure out a way to get the ring from Ned.

...

A couple of hours had passed and Peter was now crawling along the wall to Ned's bedroom window. Peter shot a web towards the window, yanking it open and crawling inside.

Peter quickly surveyed the room for any signs of Ned or his grandmother before starting to dig through his bedside table. Peter knew that it was a slim chance, finding the ring, but he had to try.

Peter continued to look around before he heard footsteps approaching the door so he quickly pulled his mask on.

"Woah!," Ned exclaimed, his eyes landing on the superhero who was standing in his bedroom.

"Shit!," Peter cursed.

"Woah! Spiderman is in my room! Why is spiderman in my room!," Ned yelled, "i gotta tell MJ-"

"NO, No shh!," Peter exclaimed, clamping his hand over Ned's mouth. "Good citizen!, I, Spiderman, have come for your help. This is top secret so you cannot tell anybody," Peter said, distorting his voice to sound more masculine.

Ned smiled, "Oh, yes yes of course Mr. Spiderman sir!"

"Uhm, okay, do you have a ring? Like a gold ring that goes around two fingers?," Peter asked, removing his hold on the boy.

Ned looked around for a moment, thinking, "Oh wait! Yes I think I do!," he exclaimed before walking over to his desk drawer and grabbing a ring.

Ned walked back over to the boy and help the ring up, "Is this it?,"

Peter's eyes lit up with gratitude, "Yes! Yes, thank you," Peter exclaimed.

"Of course Mr. Spiderman sir,"

Peter gave the boy a thumbs up before climbing out of his window and webbing away, leaving Ned starstruck in his bedroom.
