Chapter 16

"what if we don't have to choose? What if we found a way for you to come with me?'

Peter looked toward Arya with confusion, "You're being serious?"

Arya nodded, "I mean, only if you want to" She explains, "I would totally understand if you wanted to stay here"

"No, No, of course, I would want to go with you-i just," Peter starts, "It is possible? Safe? The world almost opened up last time"

Arya's face faltered slightly at the new thought, "Peter? It is possible?' Arya asked, turning towards her best friend. 

The younger boy looked at her, "I'm not sure, I would ask strange but you know, I can't" He explained, sighing as he saw the girl's face morph into a frown. "But, don't worry I'm sure we can figure it out" 

Arya nods, turning back towards Peter, taking his hand in hers. "Why don't we go back to the house for now?" she suggests, looking between the two.

Both the Peters nodded, following behind Arya as she walked out of the building.

When the group arrived back at the house they sat in Peter's living room, Arya sat next to the elder peter while her best friend sat across from them.

"So Peter, have you tried reaching out to MJ or Ned again?" Arya asked, curiosity peaking in her brain.

The younger boy shook his head, "No, not yet, I just can't bring myself to do it, I'm afraid to hurt them again," He explained, sighing slightly.

Arya's heart clenched for the boy, she knew how much he loved Mj and how close he was to Ned and it hurt her to know that he felt that way. "Peter, you won't hurt them, don't blame yourself for what happened, it was the right decision" she explained, "And don't worry when we get back I'll help you, we can explain everything to them and it'll be just like how it was here with me" 

Peter nodded, sending his best friend a look of gratitude, which she returned with a smile. 

The group sat in silence for a while before the Peter next to Arya decided to speak, "Hey man, that ring can take you anywhere right?" he asked, looking toward the younger one.

"Uh yeah, Im pretty sure"

"So it could like take you to people you've lost in other universes?" he asks, Arya giving him a questioning look, confused as to where he was going with this.

"yeah I think so, as long as they exist in that other universe, although they most likly wouldnt have the same memories as the one here did" Peter explained.

As the two continued to talk Arya decided to get up to use the bathroom. 

As the girl left, Peter looked towards the younger boy, "So, potentially, I could see Gwen again?" he asked, his selfish intentions clouding his head.

The younger ones eyebrows furrowed slightly, "Yes, but what about Arya? Don't you think that might upset her, now that you're with her?"

Peter stayed silent for a moment, "Yes but our relationship is strong, and i was just wondering, maybe i could see her for one last time, for closure" he explained, trying his best to convince the both of them that closure is what he really wanted.

"Uhm" Peter thought, hesitating slightly, "I guess," he spoke.

Peter smiled watching as the other boy stood up, sliding the ring onto his finger.

"Find Gwen"
