Chapter 12

"Did something happen between us there?," she spoke. "Is that why you kissed me?,"

Peter felt his words get caught in his throat, he just sat there silently, staring at her.

"I'm right, aren't I? That's why you're not saying anything." she spoke, "Peter?,"

Peter just gave her a nod, he couldn't tell how she felt, he didn't know what to say. 

"Why didn't you say anything?," she asked, "Peter?,"

Peter shrugged slightly, "I don't know, I guess I just didn't want to scare you off or ruin anything, I guess if it was gonna happen I wanted it to happen naturally," he explained.

Arya nodded, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, "That's why you gave me the necklace? It was Gwen's wasn't it?," she asked, realization filling her head.

Peter nodded, "Yeah,"

"I'm sorry I don't remember," 

Peter shook his head, "don't be, it wasn't your fault,"

Arya nodded, "I guess it makes sense, I always felt a sense of Deja Vu when I was around you, I mean, when you kissed me it just felt so...familiar," she explained, "Will you tell me how it happened?," she asked.

Peter nodded, "If that's what you want,"

Arya nodded.

And so he did, Peter told her everything. 

He started with how they met.

"when I first arrived in your universe I was just roaming the streets when I saw you. You were about to get hit by a car so I saved you, then you found out I was also peter and freaked out," He explained. 

"You saved me?," she asked, a smile on her face. 

he nodded.

He then told her about the second time they met. 

"Then you went over to Ned's house after May died, and somehow I ended up there and we met again. Then I helped you clean your wounds,"

Arya smiled, just from his descriptions of their interactions she could already understand how she fell for him.

He then told her about the second time he saved her.

"Then you fell off the scaffolding and I saved you again," 

"You saved me twice?," she asked, a smile huge on her face.

He nodded.

"Can't say I'm not understanding why I fell for you," 

Peter turned a bit red, smiling at her. 

He lastly told her about their departure. 

"Then I had to be sent back home and that's when I gave you Gwen's necklace, so you'd have something of me. Then I was sent home and I never thought I'd see you again until you ended up at my doorstep," he told her, letting out a relieved exhale.

Peter was glad to get everything off of his chest. Glad that she knew the whole truth. he just hoped it wouldn't ruin anything.

Arya nodded, "Wow,"

"Yeah, wow," Peter agreed

"I think it was sweet, that you were trying to protect my feelings," 

Peter smiled and stood up, helping the girl up as well.

"Are you ready to head back?," Peter asked, wrapping an arm around her waist to swing her back.

Arya nodded, wrapping her arms around his neck. "Yeah." she spoke, as the two connected eyes, their glances moving towards their lips, "In a minute," she spoke before the two closed the distance between them, their lips connecting in a kiss.
