I'm complete on my own
a strong woman who doesn't need anyone else.
but if I had the chance to be with you forever,
i'd take it in a heartbeat.
EMBRACING
I write poetry
painting a picture of everything
that's beautiful in the world
and embracing the emotions
I've spent so long suppressing
LIFETIME
we saved each other
when we didn't even know we needed to be saved.
lost in the moment,
grasping on to life when we were nearly drowning.
I threw you a lifeline and we both floated to shore.
