Chapter 8.

"Here you go honey," Gabriella says giggling as she made breakfast for her husband.

"Ah, this looks great Darling thank you, better than what I would of made," he said before digging in.

"Lady Gabriella I'm glad to see your alright," Elizabeth said with a smile on her face.

"Oh yeah just needed a good nap is all, I don't go down so easy,"

"We also had great sex to help her out too. It helps with the healing process," Meliodas says with his mouth full as Gabriella went to smack him in the head.

"What next Sir Meliodas?"

"Well that's obvious, we're going to the next town to gather more info on where the others might be, hopefully Ban is next, I would love to see him again,"

"I bet you would," Meliodas said with a hard frown on his face.

Gabriella rolled her eyes.

"Don't start Meliodas I'm not even into him like that,"

"Didn't we already have this conversation?"

"You get riled up at the mention of Ban you should loosen up he's your best friend,"

"Ummm..... guys-" Elizabeth tried but was cutt off by Meliodas.

"I'll loosen up when he stops trying to get into my wife's pants,"

"Nothing even happened!"

"Please Gabriella if I did that with Elizabeth you'd be pissed off and call the whole marriage off,"

"Guys I umm....-"

"I'm not going to throw 3,000 years of marriage away just because you decide to touch some girl!"

"I haven't because I'm actually FAITHFUL in the relationship,"

This caused Gabriella's jaw to drop.

"SO WHAT YOU TRYING TO SAY?! Just because Ban flirts with me I'm cheating on you?!"

"I really don't have time for this," Meliodas says standing up.

"NO! YOU ARE TALKING IT OUT WITH ME!" Gabriella yells as the change in the atmosphere became darker.

Meliodas stopped in his tracks.

"Do you think I honestly have a thing for him when I'm with you?" Gabriella asked in a dark voice causing Meliodas to gulp.

"Your so unbelievable, Zeldris would never think so," Gabriella mumbles the last part before stomping upstairs.

A door slam caused Elizabeth to jump out of her skin. Meliodas sighed upset.

"Maybe I did take it too far," he mentions slumping his shoulders.

"Just apologize to her Sir Meliodas...... I can see it in her eyes how much she loves you, she wouldn't betray you, she's been with you for so long she doesn't need anyone else but you by her side,"

"You don't know what your talking about,"

"Oh but I do, you say Ban is always flirting around with her or wanting to get in her pants but, do you really think she would allow that without thinking of you first? Think about it Sir Meliodas, she would never hurt you and you would never hurt her,"

Meliodas sighed as he looked upstairs.

"Yeah your right.... Thanks Elizabeth," Meliodas says before ascending up the stairs.

Meliodas braced himself as he headed up the stairs into the room they shared. When he went to go open the door however, he found it was locked as he sighed and placed his head against the door.

"Gabby," he softly called feeling bad about himself.

He shouldn't have allowed the argument to go overboard. He heard tons of sniffing going on in the room and knew she was crying.

He sighed.

"Gabby you know I didn't mean it, can you please open the door so we can talk?"

Gabriella said nothing as her sniffing became even more noticeable. Meliodas sighed before stepping away and walking downstairs to where Elizabeth was talking to Hawk.

"How did it go?"

"She won't let me in, the door is locked and she's crying,"

"It'll be okay Sir Meliodas, she's going to come around all couples fight,"

"I know but not this bad,"

Suddenly Hawk's mom came to a stop as they were in the next town over.

"Come with me," Meliodas said dragging Elizabeth up the stairs.

He showed her the uniform she would be wearing as he grinned.

"Here you go, you'll be the waitress in our tavern, you'll be the first person to wear it,"

"The first? You mean lady Gabriella doesn't wear it?"

"No! I mean no, I can't afford her to wear it she's to cute and sexy men would be all eyes on her. She knows who she belongs to,"

Elizabeth giggled.

"Sir Meliodas, I love how protective you are of her. You guys make a fine couple," she said smiling as Meliodas looked back at the closed door to there room.

"Yeah we do, I just hope she forgives me soon, I can be a jerk she's been loyal to me all this time. It's just everytime she mentions Ban I get so worked up it's ridiculous,"

"It's called Jealousy Sir Meliodas, it happens," Elizabeth said causing Meliodas to sigh.
