Chapter 29

"GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!" Meliodas yelled happily as the couple went downstairs to see everyone already in there place.

To say it was awkward was an understatement. Everyone was staring at them and Ban just continued to jug down whatever bottle he was drinking.

"What's wrong guys?" Meliodas asked innocence in his voice.

"Ummm-" Elizabeth began but Ban cutt her off.

"We're tired of hearing you bang your wife captain, there I said it," Ban said shrugging his shoulders.

"I think after what happened last night you outta leave," Meliodas said with a straight face as Gabriella could see anger in his eyes.

Elizabeth blinked in confusion.

"You mean something other than.... That happened last night?"

"Yeah," Meliodas said clutching his fists. "Ban is still trying to claim his love for MY wife like I'M not there,"

"It's not my fault that you have a hot ass wife in the room!"

"Go after Elizabeth for all I care just stay away from MY wife,"

"I don't want Elizabeth, I want her!" He pointed at Gabriella's direction.

"SHES MARRIED DAMNIT! THIS IS WHY I DIDNT WANT TO RESCUE YOUR ASS!"

"OH YEAH CAPTAIN?!" Ban shouted back slamming his hands on the ground.

"THATS ENOUGH!" Gabriella was next to yell.

Both men turned to her as she had clenched fists and tears in her eyes.

"You boys used to be best friends and I'm tearing y'all apart! I want both of you back to the way you were like brothers! I'm sorry that I'm the cause of all this.... I just want the fighting to stop," Gabriella said before running off with tears spilling down her face.

Both Ban and Meliodas sighed before looking at each other.

"She's right you know, all this fighting about her is tearing up our friendship,"

"I do miss ya captain,"

"What are you guys going to do?"

"What we do best," Meliodas grins. "Fight!"

"Fight?!" Elizabeth asked with wide eyes.

"Yeah if I win you leave Gabriella alone,"

"And if I win?"

"You can only be friends with her nothing more,"

"Deal when does this start?"

"Right after I go comfort my wife. I will be back,"

Meliodas went outside where his wife ran off too as he heard her crying. He saw her on top of Diane's shoulders as he hid himself as he didn't want to be seen just yet.

"It's not your fault Gabby, please don't blame yourself,"

"They fight over me Diane! How is this not my fault?! I ruined their friendship they can't even talk with each other without arguing, I can't get a glass of water without Ban trying to start something, I can't sleep on the couch without-"

"Ban interfering,"

"Exactly, he has an obsession over me and it's like I can't be with Meliodas without Ban getting in the way,"

"Sounds to me like it's a Ban problem, there just needs to be another girl in replace of you in order for him to get over you,".

"Yeah but who? He doesn't want Elizabeth,"

"Elaine is an option," Meliodas said making himself known as the two girls turned to him.

"Elaine?"

"King's sister before she died, he was smitten with her you probably don't remember,"

"I really don't but she's dead how can we-"

"That I do not know, Merlin could figure that out once we find her because this is really becoming a problem,"

"I agree Meli. It's ruining our relationship,"

"Don't say that," Meliodas said with a frown on his face. "Our relationship is still strong just got bumps in the way,"

She sighs.

"Yeah..... did you two work it out?"

"Yup we're fighting for you,"

"FIGHTING?!" Both of them asked wide eyed as Meliodas only smiled.

Everyone was outside now with everyone except Meliodas and Ban huddled around Diane for protection.

"MELI YOU DONT HAVE TO DO THIS!" Gabriella shouted worried.

Meliodas looked over at his wife with a grin on his face.

"Don't worry Gabby. I'm fighting because of you.... I love you and I really want to make sure that you know that,"

"But I do already know that Meli! We've been together 3,000 years and counting you don't need to prove your love to me, I just don't want you hurt!"

"Don't worry Gabby," he said cracking his knuckles. "This will be over quickly,"

"That's what you think," Ban said while grinning before charging at Meliodas.
