Chapter 32

The tavern was finally closed and Gabriella was wiping up the tables when Elizabeth walked up to her.

"Big sis?" She called causing her to blink and look over at her.

She's not used to being called that so it shocked her for a moment before she let out a small smile.

"What is it Lizzy?"

"I-I need to talk to you outside.... The guilt is too much and I don't want you to hate me,"

"Okay let's go..... HEY MEL WE'LL BE BACK!" Gabriella called to her husband who was cleaning in the kitchen.

"DONT BE TOO FAR!" He shouts back just before the two went outside.

Once outside the wind blew as Elizabeth turned to face her tears running down her face.

"Eliza-"

"IM SORRY!" She shouted suddenly grabbing Gabriella from the waist as she buried her head in her chest and sobbed.

Gabriella was highly confused by her behavior as she patted her on the head .

"Your not making sense what's wrong?"

"The day I kissed Meliodas before you got captured.... I knew it was wrong because he's married and I knew that you saw and probably blamed it on him, he tried to resist but I held him to it and he didn't even kiss back. I don't know why but I have a strange attraction to him but I know he'll never want me because he has you," she said looking up at her to see Gabriella with a blank expression on her face.

"I'm sorry Gabby, I know you hate me now but I never apologized for it and I'm sorry,"

"Elizabeth you need to understand Meliodas is MY husband. We've been together for centuries he's not going to let me go I don't mean to be mean but he especially wouldn't let me go for someone like you," she announces causing Elizabeth to frown as her bangs covered her eyes.

"Your right," she whispers as a tear rolled down. "I don't understand why I have a feeling that I'm in love with him," she says causing Gabriella to freeze in her place.

Love? Elizabeth is in Love with Meliodas? The old Elizabeth wouldn't dare say those words. A dark aura was surrounding Gabriella as Elizabeth backed away from her.

Maybe she said the wrong thing? I mean why wouldn't she be upset? She practically admitted that she was in love with her husband.

Meliodas was back in the Kitchen when he sensed something was wrong. A Frown was on his face as curiosity got the best of him.

"Ban finish for me I'll be back," he told his former best friend without looking at him as he went outside to see what was happening.

Once he opened the door his eyes widened as he saw Gabriella with darkness spilling out as Elizabeth was in a choke hold.

"GABBY!" Meliodas yelled running over to her as he managed to pry her hands from Elizabeth as she dropped and began coughing and holding her neck.

Meliodas hugged Gabriella who wasn't in her right state of mind as she just stood there with darkness pouring out.

"Gabby what happened calm down... please for me," he whispers into her ear.

Almost instantly Gabriella had calmed at the sound of his voice as the darkness flew away from her, she began sobbing as his eyes widened when she buried her head into his neck.

"Gabby I hate to see you cry," Meliodas said as Elizabeth stood up.

"You never once asked if I was okay Sir Meliodas," she frowned as Meliodas turned his head and flared at her.

"It depends what did you do to my wife?"

"I'm sorry I know shes upset, I told her that I was in love with you,"

"What are you stupid?" He instantly adds without even thinking. "Why would I ever love such a spoiled brat like you? Ever since you got here you've been nothing but trouble there is only one person I love and that's Gabriella Martinez, I wouldn't trade her for anything else in the world, get over loving me because I wouldn't feel the same," Meliodas said causing Elizabeth to gasp.

She was hurt and upset by his words, but what would she think that he'd run into her life and Leave Gabriella's? Of course not. Tears filled her eyes to the brim as she shook her head with a small smile.

"I understand, I'm sorry to be a bother to you both I will not anymore," she said before running inside the tavern.
