Meliodas Wife

Chapter 14.

"You looking for me?" Gabriella asked descending down the stairs.

"So it's true," one holy knight said.

"She really is as beautiful as the sun," the other one said.

"You need to come with us to Liones! Now!"

"No thanks I know where my heart lies and it's my dear husband Meliodas,"

"You mean dead husband," the knights snickered.

"D-De-Dead? What do you mean?"

"The medicine the doctor gave wasn't really a medicine to treat people, it was medicine to poison him and I'm sure he's dead now so that way you'll come with us peacefully,"

Gabriella couldn't believe her ears as she didn't notice tears streaming down her face.

"Meliodas," Gabriella cried her knees hitting the floor as darkness spiraled out of her.

Her tears became sobs as the knights eyes widened as everything around them began flying around. She looked up at the knights with those dull blue eyes with tear stains on her cheeks.

She could feel her heart breaking in two, 3,000 years of marriage.... No way he was dead. Before anything was done however, a string of lightning wrapped around Gabriella making her fall to the ground with a thud as everything stopped flying around as well.

"SIR GILTHUNDER!" The knights yelled as Gabriella didn't even struggle to get out of them.

"My dear you shouldn't shed tears for someone like Meliodas, come with us now we'll make your life worth wild, we'll treat you like loyalty, I will treat you like the queen you are,"

Gilthunder picked her up and lifted her chin up as her eyes showed no life in them. She didn't have a Will to live, not without her precious Meliodas.

"There, there now," Gilthunder said wiping away the tears with his thumb. "If your not going to resist," he said bringing his lips close to hers. "I've always wanted to try those lips,"

Before anything could remotely happen a gush of darkness surrounded the tavern blowing out Gilthunder and the other two knights. Before Gabriella could fall to the floor Meliodas had caught her and clawed out the restraints binding her.

"Meli," Gabriella said not having the Will to fight but she saw her husband in his demon form, with the symbol on his head and his once bright green eyes were a dull brown.

She also saw his dark black wings out.

"Hands off of her!" Meliodas said in a dark voice.

"S-S-Sir Meliodas?" Elizabeth asked standing on top of the stairs.

Meliodas went to close and lock the door as Gabriella was to stunned to speak. Her Meliodas was alive. When he turned back around however he was back to his normal self.

"That's me," he said pointing to himself as Gabriella let out a series of Tears.

"Gabby-"

"MELIODAS YOU IDIOT!" Gabriella yelled as it felt like time slowed down as she was running to him.

Her arms wrapped around his arms she buried her face into his chest and started to cry harder.

"Gabriella I'm okay, I promise you. You couldn't possibly think I was dead right?"

"I-I-I didn't want to believe it... but the thought of you- the thought of losing you-"

"Hey, hey Gabby look at me," Meliodas said as Gabby was sniffing when he wiped the tears from her eyes.

"We're forever remember? Till death actually do us part? I'm not going anywhere..... you'll never lose me, I promise you,"

"M-M-Meliodas,"

"Now dry those tears up for me okay? A sexy girl like you doesn't deserve to cry," Meliodas grins causing Gabriella to blush.

"Shut up idiot," Gabriella giggles.

"Sir Meliodas are you alright now?" Elizabeth asked as the couple forgot she was there.

"Yes I'm fine, that poison the doctor gave me ran out of my system and my wound is healed up too,"

"I'm going to give that doctor the worst judgement he's ever had in his life," Gabriella stated as a dark aroma erupted from her.

"Now, now sweetie I'm sure the doctor has a good reason, let's hear him out before making any judgements okay?"

"Fine," Gabriella gives in crossing her arms.

"By the way any of you know where Diane went?" Meliodas asked.

"What? Diane it's gone? Where could she be?!" Gabriella asked panicking.

"I believe she might be heading to baste prison already," Elizabeth's voice rang out.

"We have to go too.... Those guards will see her a mile away!"

"I'm with you on that one Gabriella," Meliodas said pulling her close to him as his black wings came out.

"Elizabeth, stay here where it's safe will you?"

"But sir Meliodas-"

"Don't answer the door for nobody okay? We're bringing back Ban," he said before flying out the hat with Gabriella in his arms.
