Meliodas Wife

Chapter 23.

Meliodas was holding onto Gabriella. They were still in the room as nobody came back yet. Comfortable silence filled the room as she sighed and leaned back on his chest as he held onto her waist.

"I lost control," he spoke as his head rested on her head.

"After I left?" She asked for clarification.

"I thought you were gone, I didn't want to feel the heartbreak or the emotions that ran through me. I was so lost without you and Guila was telling me you were dead and you won't make it out alive, it really got through to me,"

"Meli, the only way for me to die is if you died,"

"What are you saying?"

"I can't live without you Meli, if you die I die too,"

"No," he said his hold tightening on her. "You continue on living you have so much to live for, you can't die because of me,"

"I love you Meli, I've been in love with you for 3,000 years and counting. That's not going to stop, I'd follow you into purgatory because without you I'm nothing. I have nothing to live for without you by my side. So, if you ever die I die as well. We'll both die together,"

"Gabby," he said with a tear down his face. "I love you,"

"I love you too Meliodas, forever,"

"Forever," he replied as the two stared into each other's eyes.

Soon enough laughter filled the room downstairs.

"Looks like there back, come," Meliodas said as the two got out of bed holding hands.

"GABRIELLA!" The group yelled in happiness.

Gabriella smiled at the group as Elizabeth's bangs covered her eyes as she made her way towards the blonde. Everyone's eyes widened in shock as Elizabeth slapped Gabriella in the face. They gasped as Meliodas own eyes went wide with shock.

"YOU IDIOT! I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD! DONT YOU EVER DO THAT TO ME AGAIN!" She shouted tears down her face before she ran upstairs and slammed the door.

"Did she just-"

"Honey..... it's okay don't cast a judgement on her, she was just worried,"

"AND THAT GIVES HER THE RIGHT TO SLAP ME?!"

"No...... look I'll talk to her okay? Catch up with King,"

Gabriella sighs.

"Fine,"

Meliodas kissed her forehead before going back upstairs as Gabriella crossed her arms.

"Hey Gabby,"

"King?! You changed!" Gabriella shouted pointing at the small fairy.

He rubbed the back of his head.

"Not really I'm still the same me just in  a different form, but uhh.... I want to talk to you alone,"

"Alright, come on let's head upstairs. I've got to tell Meliodas not to interrupt anything,"

The two made there way upstairs as Gabriella went to Elizabeth's room.

"Meli King and I are-"

What Gabriella saw broke her into pieces. Meliodas was on top of Elizabeth lip locking. He was kissing another woman.

Even King's eyes were wide in shock and Meliodas quickly broke the kiss.

"Gabby I can explain!"

Gabriella closed the door without hearing him out. She turned to face King with a smile on her face to mask the hurt and pain she was feeling on the inside.

"Come King let's talk a little ways from here,"

"Umm.... Gabriella-"

"I'm fine," she says as the two made there way out of the tavern.

Diane, who was outside blinked in confusion as she saw King and Gabriella leaving the tavern.

"Okay King talk to me,"

"Umm.... Okay I have a big crush on Diane and don't know what to do about it can you find out if she likes me for me?"

"King, you have to tell Diane how you feel sweetie, if you don't you'll never know if she likes you back or not, you don't know when your time will be it's best to tell her now instead of later,"

"Like my feelings for you," a new voice says as a holy knight emerges.

Pink hair was visibly seen as Gabriella eyes widened.

"Little Gil,"

"I'm not little anymore  Gabby,"

"How did you find us?!"

"Don't worry I'm not after the other sins, just you in general and I know you won't use your powers against me, I just want you for myself," Gilthunder says drawing his sword out.

King decided to move in front of Gabriella to protect her.

"Your going through me first I have no personal time with you so you mean nothing to me!"

"Oh so I see you'll be standing in my way,"

"No King, leave him to me I'm upset with Meliodas right now so it's a little bit of a payback." Gabriella says looking Gilthunder straight in the eyes.

"I hereby cast your judgement holy knight Gilthunder," Gabriella begins as her body grew dark and darkness began pouring out.

Her eyes grew red as Gilthunder suddenly couldn't move as she was standing in front of him. She grabbed onto his face making him look into her deep red eyes.

"Gilthunder, Mie no Kyo-"

"GABRIELLA STOP!" Meliodas yelled panting out of breath. "DONT CAST ANY JUDGEMENT! I CAN EXPLAIN WHAT HAPPENED!"

"You betrayed me Meliodas and now it's someone who you are friends with has to pay the price,"

"Gabriella please don't do this!"

"WHY NOT?!" she shouted tears running down her face.

"BECAUSE ELIZABETH KISSED ME! I WAS TRYING TO PULL OUT OF HER HOLD ON ME!"

By now Gilthunder was able to move his hand since Gabriella broke concentration and focused on Gabriella.

"Why would I have any interest in Elizabeth? It's just you Gabby please believe me,"

"Meliodas-AHHHHH!" Gabriella screamed as Gilthunder placed his sword deep inside her abdomen. Meliodas eyes widened as blood began staining the sword.

All darkness disappeared from Gabriella as the sword only went in deeper.

"You shouldn't have looked away my darling," Gilthunder said ripping the sword out as she fell forward into his arms.

"GABRIELLA!" Was the last thing she heard before closing her eyes.

A/N: to be fair, I was fixing to follow the show story line but then it'll be boring without adding my own twists to it so I'm going a different route!
