Chapter 35

Meliodas groaned awake as he saw Elizabeth by his side quickly sitting up.

"Sir Meliodas!" She exclaimed as panic was clear on his face before he spotted Gabriella sleeping peacefully next to him on the bed.

"What happened?" He asked turning to face Elizabeth.

"Gilthunder struck you down after you tried to defend him, after that Merlin and Escanor-"

"There here?" He asks wide eyes.

"Yes, she also put a sleep spell on Gabriella because she was up worrying and crying about you and Merlin said once you wake up she should to,"

"She did what? Hey.... Gabby, Gabby it's time to wake up now, I'm fine," Meliodas says trying to wake her up.

Nothing but silence as she kept her eyes closed.

"Where's Merlin?!"

"Right here captain," Merlin says showing hp at the door.

"We can do the reunion after you wake up my wife," he growls at her as she rolled her eyes.

"Forgot how protective you were over her," she said rolling her eyes as she pointed at Gabriella.

"Awake," she said but nothing had happened.

Gabriella was still asleep as Merlin frowned.

"What did you do?" Meliodas growled as Merlin held her hands up.

Before things got to an escalation process, a loud gasp was heard as Meliodas ran over to Gabriella almost immediately and looked into her eyes.

"Gabby.... It's okay, I'm here,"

"Meliodas..... your okay," was the first thing she said as she pulled him into a hug.

"I'm alright, you know I can't die that easy," he said but blinked as she began shaking.

"I-I know but I- I get so scared whenever you get injured I don't want you to not wake up one day," she cried as Meliodas held onto her tighter.

"Please don't cry my love, the only way for me to die is if your no longer in this world with me because without you I am nothing,"

"Meli, I love you so much," she said as Meliodas pulled back from the hug and wiped her tears away with his thumb.

"I love you more," he says as their foreheads rested against each other's.

"Are we done with the sappy talk?" Merlin said in a bad mood.

She always hated seeing them two together. Gabriella stole what was supposed to be hers after all.

"Merlin, let's get one thing straight here," he says serious as he looked dead at her. "Don't ever put any spell on my wife again, do we make things clear?" He asked his eyes drilling holes into hers.

"Yes captain I understand," she said before turning to leave.

"Sir Meliodas, Lady Gabriella I'm glad you both are alright,"

"Hang on Lizzy why is it that Meliodas gets to go first huh?" She asks with a tike mark on her head.

"W-what do you mean?" She asks confused.

"I mean it should be Lady Gabriella than sir Meliodas, unless your still in love with him," she says crossed arms as Elizabeth frankly shook her head and waved her hands back and forth.

"No, no you got it all wrong! I don't love Sir Meliodas anymore, but I thought it be more formal to say sir instead of Lady first,"

This caused Gabriella to look over at her and bust out laughing as well as Meliodas as Elizabeth gave the couple a confused look.

"Now look,  I'm just joking with you your face is priceless," she says giggling as Elizabeth let out a soft laugh.

"Now come we got a celebration for the two returning tonight, we're all officially back together now!" Gabriella says smiling as Meliodas couldn't help but smile with her.

NIGHT

Meliodas, Gabriella, Elizabeth, Ban, King, Diane, Growther, Merlin and Escanor were outside drinking and having a good time with the celebration of having all 8 deadly sins together again. Gabriella had stood up and tapped her wine glass to get everyone's attention.

"Now that I got your attention I wanted to let you guys know how excited I am that we can all celebrate this day together and we couldn't have done it without sweet old Lizzy. And now that everyone is here we could also enjoy Meliodas and I's wedding in a couple of days we got a lot of preparations to do and I expect everyone to be on top with helping us out,"

"Aren't you already married?" Merlin was the first to ask.

"Indeed Merlin but we've both decided to renew our vows together, it's been 3,000 years since our last vows we did it's time for a new one,"

"That's my wife!" Meliodas says causing Gabriella to shriek as he grouped onto her boobs down behind as the others began laughing.
