Meliodas Wife

Chapter 9.

"I'll leave so you can go change," Meliodas said leaving Elizabeth alone as he walked over to the shared room.

"Gabby," he called as with enough force he was able to get the door open. "Gabby," he softly called as he found her fast asleep.

Meliodas sighed as he got into the bed with her and pulled her close.

"I'm sorry honey, really I am, I know what I said was harsh and I will never upset you again. I don't like you mad at me.... I love you,"

"And I love you Meliodas." Gabriella said with her eyes still remaining closed. "I forgive you," she also said pulling him closer.

"Rest easy now, the boar Hat doesn't open for a couple of hours,"

"Thank you," she said before falling asleep again.

A FEW HOURS LATER

The place was packed. Gabriella was serving the food, Meliodas was serving drinks, while Elizabeth was being a clumsy waitress who tripped and had food everywhere.

"I'm sorry," Elizabeth apologized as Hawk came and ate the food up.

Gabriella quickly made more food as she decided to help out Elizabeth since she was doing terrible on her first day.

"Here you go," Gabriella said to an old man as he smirked.

"Hey your pretty cute. I've got loads of money all you need to do is show me how pleasurable you can be," he said as Gabriella squealed real loud as he was touching her butt and gave it a smack with a squeeze.

"HANDS OFF MY WIFE!" Meliodas said appearing beside her as he pushed her behind him and punched the man in the face. "Get the hell out of our tavern you perv!"

Gabriella never seen Meliodas this upset, it looked like he was ready to explode on the man.

"Tech, whatever," he said standing up before leaving.

That's when Meliodas turned to face his wife.

"You okay?"

"Yeah..... thanks Meliodas,"

Another sound of crashing was heard as they turned to see Elizabeth on the floor again, however this time it looked like she was going to cry as she got up and ran out the tavern.

"Meli-"

"She's your best friend. Besides I'll run the tavern go get Elizabeth back,"

"But-"

"Please babe for me," he purrs as he gave her a tender kiss that made Gabriella melt.

"Okay," she softly replies once he pulled away.

"That's my girl,"

Meliodas turned and walked away as a blush coated on her cheeks. Even after 3,000 years of marriage Meliodas still makes her blush. So, she put on a brave face  and walked outside where Elizabeth was crying.

"Lizzy,"

"Oh, hey Lady Gabriella. I know I'm supposed to be working but I feel like all I'm doing is making a fool of myself,"

As she was talking Gabriella could feel a familiar presence near by as her eyes widened.

"Could it be?" She asked as Elizabeth kept rambling. "Elizabeth I'm sorry but I have to go," she said before running off.

"LADY GABRIELLA!" Elizabeth shouted as she got further into the forest.

'There's no mistaking the power I felt, it's Zeldris!' She thought running faster.

And sure enough it was Zeldris who stood in the middle of the forest with his arms crossed.

"ZEL!" Gabriella shouted before running into his arms and hugging him.

"I knew you'd come the minute you sensed me, have you grown tired of that traitor Meliodas yet?"

"Not in the slightest, it's been so long since I last saw you Zel,"

"I just wanted to talk to you for a moment,"

"About what?"

"Come back with me to the Demon clan, I miss you and would uhhh..... really love it to have you by my side,"

"Zel, you know I'm still with-"

"I know you are you don't have to give me an answer right away, just think about it you only left to be with my brother, but I know deep down you have feelings for me too, you didn't want to leave me behind,"

"Zeldris I-"

"GABRIELLA!" Meliodas called out far in the distance.

"Damn he just had to come didn't he? Let me know what you decide Gabriella, I've waited for you and will continue to do so," Zeldris said before vanishing just as Meliodas came out.

"There you are, why did you run off?! You scared me to death," Meliodas said as he hugged her.

"Sorry, I thought I sensed a familiar presence but when I got there it was gone," she semi lied to him.

She hates lying but it'll crush Meliodas if he found out Zeldris came to see her. If you think he's worse with Ban, he's 10x worse when it came to Zeldris.

"Whoever it was they are gone now, now come we have an idea on where a certain sin is,"

"Really?!" Gabriella asked with a smile on her face.

"Mhmmm it's another best friend of yours," he grins causing Gabriella to grin wider.

"DIANE!" She shouted jumping up and down happy as Meliodas couldn't help but laugh at how happy his wife is.
