The Haddock brothers were back at the Village slowly making their way home. The near-death experience was still replaying in their trauma-stress minds.
Hiccup: Hey Floki?
Floki: Yeah?
Hiccup: Did that really just happen or did we both just dream it?
Floki: ...I think that actually happened.
Hiccup: Oh Gods.
Floki: But it's okay.
Hiccup: No, It is not okay!
Floki: Hiccup-
Hiccup: We almost died!
Floki: Almost.
Hiccup: I don't give a-
Floki covered Hiccup's mouth as a Viking walked passed them, they gave silent greetings, then they continued on their way.
Floki: Look. Yes, we almost died, but that dragon is not stupid enough to accidentally let us live. So it decided not to kill us because you didn't kill it.
Hiccup thought about it for a moment.
Hiccup: *Serious* You know what this means right?
Floki *Serious* Yes I know.
Hiccup: What are we going to tell Dad?
Floki: I don't know but I know one thing for certain, Dad's going to be ticked when he finds out-
Both: Neither of his sons can kill dragons.
The two made it home once they were inside the two saw their father sitting by the fireplace, using the poker to adjust the firewood.
Hiccup looked at Floki and the latter did the same, the two were having a silent strategy meeting.
Hiccup: *Mouthed* Should we tell him now?
Floki looked at his father and then back to his brother.
Floki: *Mouthed* No.
Hiccup: *Mouthed* Then what should we do?
He looked to the stairs to their room and signaled that they should go without saying a word. The two ran up the stairs halfway but Stoick spoke.
Stoick: Boys.
Floki: Dad! Uh...
He looked to Hiccup for a way for them to get out of talking to Stoick.
Hiccup: We have to talk to you, Dad.
He did the exact opposite which made Floki sigh in frustration.
Floki: Yeah like talk and not yell at each other.
Stoick: I need to speak with you two as well.
They were silent for a moment until they were all silent as Stoick inhaled preparing what he wanted to say then all three of them spoke in unison.
Stoick/ Hiccup/ Floki: I've decided I don't want / I think it's time you learn / Hiccup and I don't want/ to fight dragons. What?
Stoick: You two go first.
Hiccup: No, no, you go first.
Floki: No, no, no, I think we should go first.
Stoick spoke first anyways.
Stoick: Alright. You get your wish Hiccup. Dragon Training. You two start in the morning.
Hiccup: *Panicking* Oh, man, I should've gone first!
