Gray's POV
I placed my forehead against my palm as I gazed at my reflection from the soup Mira made for me.
I played with the floating slices of mushrooms with my fork. I sighed.
I took spoonful of soup and It was okay. I slowly consumed the bowl of soup and as I was about to stand up when I heard someone call my name.
"G.Gray-sama" I turned around and our eyes met. Juvia. "Hey" I said in return.
"Was Gray-sama p-perchance thinking o-on going on a job?" Juvia asked me.
"Yeah, but I haven't really figured out which one to choose." I answered.
At that very moment, she dashed to the request board. I was for some reason...smiling at the sight of her.
I liked how her hair was wavy at the ends. I liked how her pale skin complimented her ocean blue, cold eyes. I liked her fashion. She wasn't the showy type. Overall I liked everything about her- no, I like her.
"Gray" That voice was the one I hated to hear. The voice of fears.
"E-Erza?" Her voice would send a tingling sensation down my spine.
But today Erza wasn't scary, I guess. She sat next to me and gave an earnest gaze.
"You obviously know Juvia likes you right?" I nodded back at her.
"And you like her back too, am I right?"
My eyes widened. Am I really that easy to read?
"You don't need to answer that. You obviously do"
Our conversation was interrupted when we saw Juvia come close.
"Would Gray-sama come with Juvia on this job?" Juvia handed me the job request.
It was about capturing these group of thieves at Darton for 100,000 jewels.
"Yeah sure, but can I bring Erza?"
I could feel Erza wanting to kill me and I shivered in fear.
"Sure, Juvia would accept any condition, as long as Gray-sama will be there"
She smiled at me and I smiled back at her. "Okay! Let's pack up"
Erza smirked at me before she left the guild. I tagged her along because.........
Just because.
