Chapter 27

Juvia's POV

"Gray-sama, Are you okay?" I hurriedly helped Gray. "Last Day?" Tears went down from his eyes.

"Gray-sama, It's not like we won't see each other. We'll see each other at the guild" I said.

He cried even more. "You see, THAT'S NOT THE FUCKING POINT JUVIA" He shouted at me.

I couldn't help myself but cry. "Juvia is sorry Gray-sama" I know I'm not good at understanding Gray but I did what I could.

"J-Juvia I'm sorry. I really don't have enough time." He pulled me closer.

I looked at the door as I could hear somebody knock. "Juvia will get it."

I went to the door and opened it. "Hey Juvia" I saw Ultear smirk. "Oh please come in" Ultear did as told.

"Oh, Hello Gray Fullbuster" I could feel the tension heat up. What was the problem? "What are you doing here?!" Gray felt uneasy.

"Is that how you treat someone who saved your life?" I could see Gray's veins pop out.

"Ultear, Let's talk outside" Gray said. "Why outside? You don't want your darling Juvia to hear it?" Ultear said intimidatingly.

Gray's POV

Flashback: Two years ago

I was looking for Juvia, She had been missing for a week now ever since I rejected her.

It was about eleven O'clock at night. I was in the middle of looking for Juvia in the mountains.

I couldn't give up. What if something happened to her? It would all be my fault.

I was out of energy, not just energy but also magical energy. Before I knew it I slipped.

There was no water below, I couldn't save myself I didn't have enough magic power.

If only I could have enough time, If only I could see Juvia once more, just a glance would be enough.

For a moment time stopped, literally. "Gray" I could hear a familiar voice call out to me. "Ultear?"

"Your about to die Gray, I could reverse time and make you choose another destiny but it would need to have something in exchange"

"F*cking anything Ultear, If that would make me see Juvia again"

"The consequences are, forgetting all your memories. You'd see Juvia, but what if you'll forget that she was safe? Wait! You'll forget her anyway so rest assured"

"Well it's better than dying"

"You'll forget your memories about 3 years from....NOW!"

I woke up and realized that I was standing right in front of Fairy Tail, I was about to look for Juvia.

Gray's POV

"Ultear, Could I have more time?" I said to Ultear while gazing upon the lake, which I once turned to ice.

Juvia would watch me skate. It made me smile.

"I'm really sorry Gray. It's fixed. 3 years is 3 years. You'll forget by the day after tomorrow"

"What if I write everything about my life Ultear? So by the time I'll see it I would remember"

"Remember Gray, You might not wake up somewhere familiar. You'd disappear and randomly spawn somewhere"

"What if I meet Natsu or anyone who knew about me." 

"Chances are high they'll forget about you the moment you disappear"

"If you see me why don't you tell me" I said.

"G-Gray, The consequences of this magic would mean, I would be reborn! Into a new life!" She cried.

"I'm sorry, Because of me..."

"It's okay. NOW MAKE THINGS RIGHT BEFORE YOU RUN OUT OF TIME!"

"AGHHHHHH! I'm gonna go now." I ran towards Juvia's apartment. The moment I got in I saw Juvia on the couch.

"JUVIA!?!?" I could see her stand up and bring bags from inside her room.

"Juvia has already packed for
Gray-sama. Now go! Before Juvia kicks you out."

I couldn't understand what I was feeling. Like the sky was falling down on me.

I took the bags and slowly left. I mean, I SACRIFICED EVERYTHING AND SHE JUST WANTS ME TO LEAVE?!?!?!

I closed the door shut.

Juvia's POV

When Gray left, I felt like I missed too much opportunities. I CANT BELIEVE HE DIDN'T TELL ME!

My knees grew weaker. When Gray and Ultear talked beside the lake, I became one with water. Yes I merged with the lake's water and when I heard everything I hurriedly packed all his damn clothes.

I just couldn't hold in what I feel. Yes, Fine. I'll say it. "I love you, Gray. There was never a moment I didn't think about you."

I guess I was cheating on Lyon, although not physically it was like being a two timer.

I laid flat on the floor. My tears eased me to sleep but I couldn't sleep.

I quit trying to fall asleep. I went to the bed where me and Gray once laid.

I mean doesn't he trust me? Why didn't he tell me? Ahhh! He didn't tell me he liked me then and now he didn't tell me he had to make his last three years memorable.

I can't believe he chose to spend his last two months with me as a dare! Agh! He planned thus out!

But after all the pain I wasn't hurt by the part where he doesn't tell me his secrets neither does he trust me, I was hurt because he'll forget me just in a single flash. I tried to forget him for two years but I couldn't.

I tried to sleep but no. I just can't. I closed my eyes. It was already midnight, time flies not just when your having fun but when you don't want time to go.

I CAN'T SLEEP! I guess it's because I want someone to wrap his arms around my body. We all know I don't need to say who that someone is right?

Gray, I really need you now!

Gray's POV

I was back to living in my house. Could it even be called living? Ahhh! I fell in bed. I tried flipping and flopping but slumber is not knocking on my door tonight.

It's not that I didn't trust her it's just that I don't want her to treat me nicely just because I'm gonna forget her soon. If only I could remember! Forgetting memories is the same as being reborn!

Is it because I'm not used to my bed anymore? Is it because I feel like I'm in a new environment? Is it because I'm not naked?

Who am I kidding? I know that I couldn't sleep because I couldn't wrap my arms around her anymore. I miss her scent, her smooth skin, her fragrant hair and everything else.

Juvia, I really need you now!
