Chapter 31

Gray's POV

We all laughed at Lyon's joke. Me, Ultear, Juvia and Meredy were welcomed to stay at Lamia Scale.

Well I don't plan on staying really, I need to spend more time with Juvia than anyone else.

It was really late, It was around six. "I really hate to say it but me and Juvia have to go. Because it's really late"

Lyon stood up and gave me a hug. "Goodbye man" He gave me a hug. "I'll miss you" Ultear said, I smiled, there's just a warm feeling when you know someone actually misses you.

"I'll really miss you too, Ultear. Bye Lyon, and Meredy. Good luck to us" I said. I waved them a goodbye and left with Juvia.

"Let's go" I said. "Where does
Gray-sama want to go? We only have five hours left." Juvia said .

"We need to go back to Magnolia, I'll spend my last moment there" Juvia nodded.

Me and Juvia took the train, the second time today. We walked in the train and took a seat.

"Better if we take a nap" I said to Juvia. "That's so lavish of you. We only have five hours left" Juvia told me with frustration.

"See? We stIll have five hours" I said. Juvia rolled her eyes. "I just don't want to loose you this early when I just had you"

I bit my lip. "I don't want to loose you too." I cupped her face "I worked hard for this"

Juvia held my hand, it might be a simple gesture but to me it was everything.

Her hand gave me courage to move on, it also made my heart flutter, I smiled.

I kisses her on the forehead. "I love you too much, this is bad, I might go crazy" I said.

How do I even leave this girl? Such a crappy life I have.

"Gray-sama" Juvia whispered. "I don't wanna discourage you but why didn't you just stop looking for me that night?"

"I wanted to give up, I didn't like the idea of liking a person that much. I thought it was unhealthy.. But I thought I can't give up on what I just started! They also said if you want to give up, think about why you started"

"Thinking about you....How could I give up on you. You were the only reason why I live"

"I was pretty damn scared, that you'll leave me, which you did, I didn't want to stay scared....I want to be loved"

Juvia smiled at me. "We're here." I stood up and assisted Juvia down the train.

"Let's go somewhere" I knew Juvia had a lot in mind but without question, she went with me.

She walked briskly beside me. I didn't know where either but my feet took me to the lake.

As if by instinct, I froze it. "Ice make floor!" And the lake turned into an ice rink.

I also made skating shoes out of ice for me and Juvia. I slid Juvia's feet into her shoes. It matched her size perfectly. I also wore mine.

"Do you know how to skate?" I asked. Juvia chuckled. "As a stalker of Gray Fullbuster, of course. I knew this day would come so I practiced."

I laughed. Her stalker mode was on. "of course you do" Me and Juvia started occasionally skating then started playing.

We were trying to catch each other. "Come back here Mrs. Fullbuster!" I called out.

"I didn't hear you!" Juvia skated away. "Haha! Caught you!" I embraced Juvia as I caught her.

"Haha! Yeah whatever! I've been caught! Hahaha! Let me go, Gray-sama!" I tickled her.

"Oi! Stop it! Hahhaha!" Juvia's body curled up to the ground.

"Okay I'll stop! Hahhahahaha but you have to stop it too!" Juvia started tickling me too.

I suddenly felt pain in my head. I held my head due to the pain. "Ouch" I said softly.

"Is Gray-sama okay?" Juvia asked. "My head...It's s-starting to hurt- Ahh!"

It really hurts, like a head ache but to the tenth power. I held my head with the both of my hands due to the pain. "Ah! Ah!"

Juvia scooted next to me. "Do you need anythi- Agh!" Juvia held her head too.

The pain started getting bearable. "Juvia, you okay?" I asked.

"The pain lessened. So did yours?" She asked. "Yeah, I suppose"

I felt a warm liquid run down my arm. I looked at Juvia who was now crying.

"I don't want to forget, not yet" I hugged her with passion. I placed my chin on top of her head.

"Too bad because, we don't get-" I got cut off.

"Everything we want" Juvia continued.

"Life is so unfair" I said. "Others get the happily ever after, we don't" Juvia said.

"Who said this was the end of our book? There would usually be a plot twist at the last page" I smiled.

"Our life isn't a fairy tale" Juvia said.

"Damn, look at the time" I looked at the clock tower of magnolia and guess what time it is... It's fourty-five minutes past ten.

"Bye Juvia, I love you, don't forget that.....though you eventually will" I looked at her. It wasn't easy to accept the fact.

Tears went running down my cheeks. Juvia wiped my warm tears with her cold, shivering thumbs.

"Maybe if it wasn't me, it would have been a fairy tale"

I know what's in Juvia's head right now, it would be I bring bad luck to everyone, only the rain would be the best for me, That sh*t.

"Dumbass, It wouldn't b-be a fairy tale without you. My heart, it isn't compatible with any other heart but yours" I touched her heart area with my index finger.

"I love you so damn much, and this is what I get" I ranted. "As if I'm not hurting too, I'm hurting with you too, assh*le" Juvia ranted back.

"If-If in c-case we don't happen, Promise me you won't cry, find another man to love, make sure he'll treat you well!" I said. It took a lot of courage, giving her the permission to find another man.

"B-But please end up with me. Please God!" But though I'll allow her to fall in love with another person, I'll keep on hoping she'll stay mine.

"W-We'll fight 'till the end" I said.

My body started glowing purple, a magic circle incased me.

"I'm so sorry, Juvia...I love you"

"Gray-S-sama! I love you too.." She held my hand.

"Noo!" I grasped her hand, scared that I'll go.

I smiled at Juvia though it was so damn sad. Then she was gone, everything was gone, it was all dark.

I guess our tears weren't enough to save us....
