"Grandmaster Jean"

"Yes, Aria?" 

"I have completed my duties for the day, and gathered the requests for today. I will be leaving now." 

"Alright, have a good day Aria!"

"You too, Master Jean. And please don't overwork yourself again"

"Yes, I won't, thank you." 

I leave the headquarters. It has been quite some time since I escaped that place. 

The boat I got away with was a Monstadt merchant's. I made my way to Monstadt, where Jean saw me. She offered me a job as a knight, and so, here I am. 

But what I do in the day is nearly not enough to solve the problem. As an official knight, I cannot eradicate those pests. It will be diplomatically harmful. So I just do it at night. 

Of course, even though I need less sleep than the average human, I still need it. It was one of the only good side effects of the effects of the experiments by that man. 

As I look outside, I see the giant statue of Barbatos. 

"Thank you, wherever you are. This city you have built is far better than that of the leader of the fatui's. Your people are happier. And when I entered your city, I felt, happy. But your city is loosing freedom. I try my best to eradicate the roaches, but... No. I will succeed, I may be a mere leech here, but this city is my home. I will protect it with all my might. "

Why did I just say that to a statue, I have no idea. What if someone heard me? Not that it matters, worst that might happen is me loosing my job, or returning to that place. I do not care about those consequences, at least this city will be safer, but I'd rather be happy and protect the city thank you very much. 

I reach my house, its almost 5 pm. I eat my dinner and go to sleep for about 3 hours. That is quite enough sleep for me; for I only need an hour of it.

I wake up. I tie my blonde hair in a loose bun and cover it all in a black cloth, which I tie up. I insert my black contact lenses to disguise my green eyes. I then wear a face and eye mask to cover up my face. Now that I am ready. I quietly leave my house. 

"We meet again, Darknight hero."

"You know better than to call me that, Starfall."

"What should I call you then, huh? You don't want your identity to not be disclosed, am I right? And I don't even know your name, therefore, darknight hero is the only thing I can call you" 

"I- That's true."

"Either way, let's get to the point. Did you find the location of the stronghold?"

"Yes, its quite close to the city, so any damage will be blamed on the knights. That is why they store most of their important documents there. But because there is an increasing number of pyro slimes being experimented on over there, that is public knowledge so burning it won't cause any touble "

"Let's go. You lead me."

I trap the fatui in a geo cage as I gather all the documents. 

"Done." I say. 

I give darknight a shield, escape the shelter and Darknight lights the entire stronghold on fire. 

He too runs away after making sure that all the fatui there are dead. 

"Great, now le-" Darknight pointed his index finger at me. 

"Starfall. You have been staying up for so long. Take a break today, and make sure the documents are safe."

"I don't need sle-"

"Yes you do. I'll take care of the situation today. Take care of yourself."

"A-are you sure?"

"Yes. Now go. Good night!"

"Goodnight to you too, darknight." I smile under my mask.

I reach home and change into my pyjamas. I then arrange all the documents, and hide them in a trap mechanism beneath a trap mechanism beneath a trap mechanism . When people find a single trap, they think that they discovered something. The don't think of checking for more. These types of trap drawers have a maximum of 4 compartments. So, I bought that. Just as I place the document, my doorbell rings.
