tonight we were all going to boa steakhouse for dinner for kio's birthday and sway wanted to throw a party, but kio refused so for tonight we as a group we are going to celebrate with him. it was the boys (anthony, jordan, noah, jack) and the girls (amelia, avani, dixie, avani) and nick austin (the plus one). i did not understand why he was coming it is not like he and kio were friends, he never spoken to kio, just because he was amelia's boyfriend he gets to be here? wack.
we had arrived to boa, and it was packed the waitress lead us to the table we had reserved. there were place cards, wow fancy. it was kio at the head then, anthony, avani, amelia and nick on on side, then jack, me, nai, dixie, noah and jordan. i hoped to be closer to amelia but i had jack and nai, to be honest nai and i had hit off, we got closer after that day we hung out when amelia and avani were argueing. as amelia was not present, i was not focused on her and i could actually get to know nai and we had so much in common.
"what are you ordering?" i turn to nai and she was skimming through the menu, "probs a chicken salad" she said and i nodded. i turn to face amelia and she was leaned into nick laughing at something on his phone. i sighed, i distract myself by talking to nai. "you look pretty tonight" i complimented her and she blushed, "you too vin, now bestie i have an important question" she says smiling, "ok you are scaring me, what is the question?" and goes on to say "am i the best skater or am i the best skater?" she laughs and i just laugh with her, "slow your roll love, no one is as good as me" i tease and gloat, "not even tony hawk, damn shawty" she laughs and i laugh with her. i feel eyes on me and i turn to see amelia was looking over and i smiled to her and she smiled back awkwardly. we haven't spoken since the day we "hung" out with nick and that. not even texted, like i am so confused, are we friends or were going to be something more and i was just too late in asking or. i am so confused, like she was talking to both of us at the same time, maybe avani was right in, no, amelia is not a whore. but maybe she did not think of me as more than just a friend, nick was definitely her type, fun, outgoing and a party person, a people person and i was just some shy guy.
we finished dinner, and sung kio happy birthday,got a couple pics and we said our goodbyes. i was driving kio, jordan, jack and nai back (driving jacks car), and avani, anthony, amelia and nick in the other and noah and dixie in another. i dropped the boys back to the dorm first and then nai, kio gave me a smirk and a wink and i rolled my eyes. "don't make me feel like an uber driver" i teased and she came and sat in the passenger. "hmm if you were my uber driver i'd give you a 1 star rating" she teased me back, "ouch, and here i am about to open your door for you and walk you to your room" as i get out of the car and went to the passenger side, "hmm, maybe now 2 stars" and i walked with her to her room, letting her enter the elevator first, "3 stars" she smiled increasing my score with every nice thing i do. walked with her to the front of her room door, "we have arrived m'lady" i bowed to make her laugh, which she of course did, "thank you vinnie, 4 star rating! that's pretty good" she says smiling, and i don't know what had come over me, whether it was the game of upping my score or the thrill or if i actually wanted to but i kissed her. we were kissing, she was kissing me back, i pull away, she was smiling and i feel myself smiling too, "definitely rating you 5 stars" she cheered and i smile, "goodnight nai" and she pecks my lips again, "goodnight vinnie"
