In the state of fear, I held on to the blanket tightly as the figure in question slowly walked towards me.

"YN, it's been so long, hasn't it?" he replied.
"How... how do you know my name?" I asked.
"Come on, now. Has it been that long you don't even remember?"
"Remember what?"
"Your own brother..."

I stared in such a state of shock, I have forgotten so much of my previous family. From all the family members that didn't like me, the only one who did was my big brother: Ryoma. If I had recalled correctly, he was the only one who I saw as a protector in my eyes. No matter howw bad things were at home, Ryoma would always treat me with kind, sweet words. As tears started to roll down my cheeks, I hugged my brother tightly. It had been years since I last saw him.

"Where have you been this whole time, big brother?!" I asked tearfully.
"I'm sorry, YN." he apologized, "I was out of the country during the accident. I didn't know if you passed away during our parent's incident."
"But how did you find me?"
"You always told me about how much you adored pink hair when we were kids. So, when I saw you on TV, I figured it was you immediately."
"But... why didn't you find me after all that time?"
"I wanted to, but that hero wanted you away from publicity for so long, I never had the chance. But now that you're here, I can get you out of here. We can start a new life in America!"
"Wait. Leave?"
"Yes. I know a friend who has a quirk to remove your curse. Once he does that, you can be human again. No more of that monstrocity."
"B-but... what about my quirk?"
"We don't have to worry about your quirk. You don't have to worry about hiding your ugliness ever again. You can be free."
"Free?? But without my quirk-"
"Look, you don't have to worry. I can protect you, just like old times. I promise you, YN, those heroes will never tear us apart again. Especially that one hero after what I did to him."

"Wait a second. That hero?" I asked, pushing him away from his grasp.
"Yes. The one who couldn't stop blabbing about you. The guy with the glasses."

In shock, I stared at him with such fear.
He was the one that put my father in the hospital bed that day?
My mood changed from hope to fear in an instant.
He saw my reaction and moved away for a second.

"You mean Sir Nighteye?? But why?"

Without uttering a word, he pulled the blade out of its sheath and examined the sharp textures from the edge of the sword. He then spoke.

"He was claiming about saving you from that horrible place when he did nothing but kidnap you from me!"

In such anger, he stabbed a hole on the side of the room, making me shake in fear. Ryoma was scaring me to death. With a deep breath, he pulled the sword out and return it back to its original location.

"No matter. He won't be a bother to us any longer. With those major injuries he's gotten, that hero won't stop us from being back together."

He started to reach for my head, but I backed away.

"I don't understand. Why would you hurt Sir like that? That's my father."
"Father?!" Ryoma muttered as he looked at me in rage, "Don't be fooled."

He ran towards me with a knife placed at the tip of my neck.
When I looked at his eyes, it was full of rage and hatred.
This wasn't the brother I remembered.

"Your father died several years ago from that accident, remember? That hero was the one is truly the villain. Don't you get it?! That hero made sure we would never meet each other again, locking you up as a prisoner, forcing you to be his slave?! Is that what you call a father figure?!"
"You're wrong, brother! Sir isn't like that at all!"
"Then if that's the case, why was he there that day? Why did he steal you away from me?!"
"He was investigating a crime!" I shouted back.

He stood there silent as he got off from me.
I sat myself up for a moment and took a deep breath.

"When Mom and Dad were attacked that night, there were strange noises I heard from the background. Not sure who and why they attacked that night since Sir never told me, but he wanted me safe and kept me in the hero's safety commissions to ensure my life was spared by whomever wanted my life dead."
"Did they ever catch them?"
"Sir never told me if he did or didn't."
"Which proves my point exactly: he's a monster!"
"No! He isn't! He's more family than you'll ever be!!"

I covered my mouth and looked away.
I never snapped like that before.
Not towards Sir or even to my parents.
As I looked back towards my brother, his entire mood changed from anger to calm.

"Look, I'm sorry," I apologized, but he held his hand towards my face to shut me up.
"No. I should apologize."
"R-really?"
"Yes. Apologize for never allowing you to see your family again."
"Wait. No! I'm not going!"
"Oh? You're not? Fine. Go then."

I got up and started to go towards the door.
Just then, the door opened as I bumped into someone headfirst.
As I looked up, I noticed how Overhaul was there, standing there still as a board.

"Kai?" I spoke, trying to get his attention.

All of a sudden, he started to activate his quirk and attacked the majority of my bones inside my body. I fell towards the ground with my body feeling rubbery all around. I could feel pain striking everywhere. What was happening?

"Ow! Kai!? That hurts!" I yelled in agony.

He didn't utter a word at me as I looked at him and back to my brother. Realizing his cold demeanor matched my brother's, I knew he had to do something with this.

"What did you do to him??"
"It wasn't hard for him to be a very submissive leader by my quirk. And since it isn't completely finished, he can see you suffer, but he can't do anything about it since I have him under my control."
"This is wrong, and you know it!!"
"Is it? Well then, you wouldn't mind me having him destroy everything, including his former self, would you?"

He started to signal him to strike his body down but was stopped when I bowed in defeat.

"Please don't!! I'll do anything!!"
"Anything??"

I nodded.
He signaled Kai to fix the bones back in my body the way it was before.

"You follow my plans and I'll release him from my quirk. Fail to do so, and you'll see the consequence. Do I make myself clear, sister??"

I nodded sadly.
There was nothing else I could do.
If I called for help, he'll kill Kai.
If I leave, he'll have Kai kill me.
I was trapped in a web that no chance of freedom.
No one who would help me at all.
