After that encounter with Shigaraki, I was pushed down towards the ground, unsure of where my location was. Realizing the last words Shigaraki has said before I disappeared, shook my my heart with such fear. In a few moments, the blindfold was removed from my eyes, leaving me in a room where no door or windows were in tact.
"Here's where you'll be residing for the time being." Toga said with a smile.
I glanced towards them, still shaking in fear. She giggled and started to leave immediately.
"Oh, and don't bother calling for help. No one's going to hear you when you're in here. Plus, it'll excite me even more if you do."
"Why are you guys doing this?"
"Why? As if we would ever tell you our secrets."
"But still... no villain would leave without exploiting their plans, right?"
"I guess Shigaraki's wrong about you: You're not just powerful and beautiful, but you're really naive and clueless."
She stared intently with a knife by my neck. In an instant, the cut started to make me bleed as I continued to stare. With her crazy smile, she grabbed her bottle, making sure no blood was left astray.
"Yes, give me that look," Toga laughed maniacally, "the look of utter fear and despair!"
"Pardon the intrusion, Ms. Toga," Kurogiri spoke, "but we must return back to the base."
"Yeah, yeah. Well, get some sleep, my dear. You'll need your strength for tomorrow."
Without another word, Toga and Kurogiri disappeared, leaving me alone in a room. Thinking there was no magical barrier, I tried to use spells to get out. Sadly, it wasn't working better than I expected.
"Well, if I can't get out, maybe I can try to call for help."
I sat on the ground, drew a circle and enchanted a spell. However, the spell backfired and pushed me far from the room, leaving me with scratches and bruises.
"No matter what I do, I can't seem to reach anyone."
Holding on to my injured arm, I used one of my healing spells to close the wounds. As it started to recover, I then recollect certain conversations about what was said to me before:
"Villains are nothing but heartless people! They can never feel emotions!"
"No one's coming to save you. Not even your little boyfriend will find you here."
In tears, I covered my face, thinking all about Kai, hoping to see him again.
At the exact same moment, in a different location, Chisaki Kai was looking through the glass where a small blue orb sat. From a distant away from where he stood was his strong members, Mimic and the eight bullets of the Hassaikai.
"The boss has been quiet for the past couple of days." Mimic said to the group.
"This is quite a predicament." one of the members named Nemeto remarked.
"Aww, come on." the third named Rappa whined, "he needs to toughen up!"
"Even if he could, Rappa, he'll advise us to do the same." the third named Tengai assured. "Let's just hope the Master will be okay."
"He'll be alright. After all, he's the boss. He's the best leader we've got!" the fourth named Setsuno responded with such high respect.
"Right, now let's get back to work."
While the members started to walk away, Nemeto looked towards his young lord as his eyes grew dark.
"Young lord. I wish I knew how you're feeling right now."
As Nemeto walked away, Overhaul thought carefully about how the results that occurred.
** Earlier that morning **
"You know it pisses me off when you drive my patience, Overhaul." Shigaraki mentioned.
"Patience is a virtuous thing any human being should practice on." Overhaul commented.
"Really? Then you're driving mine towards hell if this serum you're working on is taking too damn long."
"It needs to be perfected. If rushed, then the serum will not work properly."
"And since you should already know that," Mimic added, "then why are you here?"
A smile was shown through the hand mask of Tomura Shigaraki. To anyone's eyes who seen him like that, it wasn't a good sign at all.
"I'll get right to the point, since you're so busy perfecting the bullets."
Knowing exactly what he was doing, he sat promptly down on the couch and placed one of his feet on top of the glass table.
"You're making the table dirty. Get off."
"Without saying please? How rude It seems as though we have.. problems with how you think we run things around here. "
"What are you implying? I've been constantly been working on this plan up to full speed. The only problem is time."
"Oh really, then how do you explain this?"
Shigaraki tosses a blue orb towards Overhaul. He examined the orb, unaware of what was inside.
"One of your little lackeys attacked one of my pawns. Now, why is that?"
"If it's for self defense, then I wouldn't worry too much about it. Nemento can use his quirk to find out the truth."
"That won't be necessary since we both know what it's all about. We know you made contact."
"What are you talking about-"
"Don't act all high and mighty. You contacted the pro heroes, didn't you?"
Overhaul uttered not a word as he positioned his seat.
"So that's what this is all about? Now, who's jumping to conclusion? Me alerting those fake heroes? Don't make me laugh. In fact, no hero knows about the plan at all."
"Oh, then are you accusing my spies as liars then?"
"Not at all. If your spies want to exploit me speaking to anyone, heroes or not, then they have the right to. I have nothing to hide."
"Well that's too bad."
"Why?"
"You should look carefully in this orb."
He held what seem to be a little angel stuck in limbo. Overhaul simply stared, not making a reaction in front of Shigaraki.
"We warned you to not involve any pros about this and because of that, you'll never see her again."
Those few words triggered Overhaul as he prepared to attack with his quirk. Shigaraki held his four fingers close to the orb.
"Be careful or you'll be at fault for killing her instead of me."
He glanced towards the orb and back towards Shigaraki. Placing his hands down, Shigaraki started to walk away.
"Do hurry along with this plan. If you wish to see her again alive, that is." he replied with a maniacal laugh.
Overhaul, surprised with this matter, fell to his knees, realizing what he had just done.
*** FLASHBACK ENDS ***
A small tear started to fall on the side of his cheek. Trying to push this emotion aside, his eyes brimmed with determination.
"Y/N... hang on..." he promised, "I'll see you again. No matter how long it may be."
