Chapter 30

MEGAN POV

I'm talking to the hostess for today Joseph, about how the restaurant will be shut down next week to give everyone a rest. Jorden usually does this often so why not keep it up, it helps show that we care about our employees. In the middle of talking, my phone is ringing off the hook repeatedly. Between text and calls coming in, I don't know who to answer. I see Normani's name light up and I automatically answer.

"Babe what's wrong ? Are the babies -"

"MEG HE'S UP!!!!!!!!! HE'S AWAKE! COME TO THE HOSPITAL RIGHT NOW"

I don't even let her finish cause I dropped my phone, staring at Joseph I yell He's UP. Oh My He's up I..I.... gotta get to the hospital. Startling not just him but everyone in the restaurant. He picks up my phone telling me that I better hurry. I run to my car, not even realizing I don't even have my keys with me. Thanks to Joseph whose running after me with them. I gotta remind myself that they all need a bonus.

I slowly walk to the room, I don't know..... I'm scared, nervous, sad that this happened to him. When I'm by the door I see him laughing holding Jordan, with Normani on his right side helping him hold her. Then I see an angry Justine as usual, and the rest of Jorden's family as they either watch in awe of Jorden and Normani or at Arrow.

I quickly enter in giving everyone my love but rushing to the ones I love. I quickly give a kiss to Normani, then give Jorden my full attention.

"Baby I... I'm so sorry...pl-please-"

Cutting me off he says" Meg baby, don't you dare blame yourself.. Like I told Normani, it was my fault. I didn't speak up for my babies. I didn't speak up for ya'll but that all changes.... Ma, even though I was out of it I could hear everything. Not once, ONCE did Normani talk bad about you when she was here by herself. And she was here for awhile. I got to meet my babies, and hear them. But what I heard from you Ma is not okay. You told her to just leave the babies here with you and run away.... How dare you!!! Megan is my wife and Normani is our girlfriend, well soon to be wife. So don't you ever question her loyalty to me or to Megan. Because I know it's real. This love we share is real. And you nor Anyone else will destroy it. And Ma if you can't accept that, then I'm sorry but you will have to be cut from ALL of our lives. Even your grandkids... So what do you say Ma?"

With a scoff Justine answers "Yeah I'll accept her when Hell freezes over. I don't care, you're loosing the ONLY woman that has, will and ever love you. For this no good slut! Have your fun." She says leaving out the room

First it was all quiet as we all looked around the room in shock that he finally stood up to his mom. Then we're like oh shit he stood up to his mom.

"It's about damn time you told her off! I was getting tired of watching you fall for yo momma shit" His dad says making us all laugh and go back to enjoying our time with each other

I look at Normani seeing tired written all over her face. Her and the babies been at the hospital all day and it's currently 8pm. I know I should take her home, but I don't wanna leave Jorden. I guess she sensed it, beating me to the punch she tells me to stay and how her and the twins are leaving. I offer to take her home, but I'm yet beaten again by Jorden's dad who says he'll do it.

It's just Jorden and I, the doctor already came telling us how Jorden has a broken right leg. But thankfully that's it. He can come home possibly next week, and just needs physical therapy. We lay in his hospital bed together knowing we're not allowed. I tell him how much we missed him, how proud I am of him taking up for Normani and our relationship and show him a video of when Normani had the twins.
