MEGAN POV

"Well he's been at my house.. I don't know if he'd talked to his mom.. but I doubt it. He mainly talks to Kiari, cause you know he definitely ain't talking to me the way I be looking at him" Belcalis tells me while we're at her salon getting our hair done.

"I honestly don't care.. He didn't stick up for Normani or our relationship at all. He just let her say those things about her, and not defend her. But keeps calling us saying how he's sorry, but I don't believe it cause knowing him he hasn't told his mom how wrong she is. Cause remember in his eyes she can't do no wrong. She's the only perfect woman in his life, and that's some shit"

"No but when she brought up Clarissa... I was like what! you gotta be kidding me. Clarissa was the best thing for y'all. She was a straight up hoe that wanted y'all to buy everything and anything"

"Plus you cannot forget how she got pregnant by her ex, then try to say it was Jorden's. I'm so glad we've been moved on from her.... it's hard, cause since the shower the people at Mani's job keep giving her sympathy. And it's bad enough we're living it, now we got other people in our business. Even some workers from the salons, keep asking about her and we know they doing that just to be nosey."

"The babies are coming soon. Y'all gonna have to talk at some point.."

"I know. ugh I know... it's bad enough we didn't finish the babies room. I'm glad we did paint it, well Normani since that girl is so artistic. But we haven't put up the cribs, we still need to buy clothes for them now that we know they're gender. Ugh it's just a lot and I'm so stressed... like the moment the most happiness thing to come into our lives happens to be the most stressful thing in our lives come." I say taking a deep breath trying to relax

"Well girl you know I'm here, and Ryan as well. Even Kiari ass. After this let's go shopping for the baby clothes. And maybe tomorrow, I'mma ask Kiari if he could go put the cribs up for y'all alright?"

"Uh thank you girl. Thank you so much! I appreciate you so much!" I tell her grabbing her hand since I can't move since we're getting our hair done at the same time.

JORDEN POV (THE NEXT DAY)

"Kiari?" Belcalis calls out to him while I'm sitting with him in the game room. He leaves out to find her wherever she is. I leave the room too to go to the kitchen. But I still overhear them talking.

"Yes Babe?" Kiari says back, I begin to zone out till I hear Megan's name. Now I definitely gotta listen to this shit.

"I need you to go to Megan and them house to put up the cribs for them. They need to put the cribs up before them babies come in about three weeks"

I overhear Belcalis say. Oh hell no those are MY women and those are MY babies. Ain't nobody doing shit but ME! I quickly enter into the living room.

"NO! you not. I'M going over there.. cause that's MY family! If they need anything I'M their MAN. I appreciate you bro, but that's my family and I'mma do that for them"

"They don't need a punk ass man that can't stand up for the so called FAMILY HE LOVES!!" Belcalis yells at me standing up

"Okay bae, the kids are taking a nap. We don't need to wake them up" Ryan says to her

"No fuck that. I've been nice to you Jorden.But this shit is BEYOND ME!! You call them saying how you love your family and miss them. And even went to Normani's job and tried to plead with her. When you STILL ain't stick up for her or y'all entire relationship. How are they supposed to be secure with you when you can't even tell yo MAMA that she's wrong. Wrong on so many levels!! And to bring up Clarissa of all people.. Clarissa..... and you just stood there and let her. You really ain't shit! And I'm tired of having an ain't shit man IN MY FUCKING HOUSE!!! So I suggest that you get the FUCK OUT MY HOUSE!!" Belcalis yells at me

It's quiet. Pin drop quiet and everyone doesn't know what to say. Kiari comes to me patting me on my shoulder. I know I fucked up but damn, like that. I don't know what to say, so I just walk out the house getting in my car driving. To where.... I have no damn clue.

NORMANI POV (ONE WEEK LATER)

"It's really coming together Meg.. I... I love it so much.. And to think our baby girl and boy will be here!" I say as we're in the babies room looking at it. Everything is together.

Kiari came and put the cribs up. Belcalis and Ryan helped us put all the clothes together and organize everything else we had.

"I know it looks so good in here. You really did a great job on the paint work baby" Megan says behind me holding and rubbing my belly. Caressing it.

"Meg?... I..I.. think we should tell Jorden to come back home... for the babies you know"

"Honestly Mani I don't think we should. He isn't concerned about us. Only what his mama thinks. Plus he hasn't even called or anything in a whole week. I think he needs to take this time to get it together within himself, then maybe.. I'm saying MAYBE he can come back home" Megan says

"But until then we have babies coming on the way. And I'm sadly limited to three weeks now to get some more cookie till I'll have to wait six weeks" She continues with a quick kiss to my neck trying to get me started

I turn in her arms about to kiss and we're interrupted by both of our phones ringing. I'm met with a frantic Jasmine.

She's yelling and saying that Jorden was in an accident a week ago, a car accident to be exact. He's been in a coma since, and the hospital just contacted them. It's like my whole world is falling apart. I turn around to face Megan seeing tears in her eyes as well and I continue to listen to Jasmine as she says he's in surgery again and how it's critical.

The doctors are telling them he might not make it. His car got hit from the side causing it to flip multiple times in the car until landing upside down. My ears start to ring and I can't hear her anymore. She's yelling saying how we need to get to the hospital. I'm crying and Megan is crying too. All I can feel is pain. Pain in my heart. Pain in my stomach now.

"Oh MY GOSH BABY, NO NOT NOW!!" Megan yells throwing her phone on the floor coming towards me.

I look down seeing a puddle of water I'm standing in and all I can say is Oh Shit my water just broke
