"I cannot believe it, I cannot believe it!" exclaimed Lexi.

"You freaking own Saracens!!!" screamed Lottie.

"I know!" I replied smiling.

We walked behind Nigel and my parents all three of us giggling, smiling and almost falling over with happiness. I knew I had to calm down, I mean I'm 18 now for fucks sake, you'd think I'd have gotten over this whole fangirling thing. Ehhh nope. Imagine liking someone for 4 years, 4 fucking years and then you are not only given the opportunity to meet them, but the chance to see them every single day. Every day! This was literally what I spent my early teenage days thinking about. Planning ways I could meet each of them, planning ways I could get them to notice me. It sounds stupid right? But when you enter the fandom world that is it. There is no way out. No escape, no running away, locked, trapped, stuck. You cannot leave. It has a grasp over you and no matter how hard you try to break free you can't, there's always something or someone holding you back. And it all starts when you discover this thing or person. Then you go on the internet to find more out about this person or thing. Next you spend hours and hours finding pictures and videos, and before you know it you are 15 and pretty much nocturnal. And you sit in a corner rocking back and forth trying to tell yourself that it will all be okay in the end. When really the only thing that has happened is that the internet is slow because it's 5 o'clock in the fucking morning. Too many feels. Too many feels.

Anyway, we continued walking behind them and I had calmed down a little, I had to be presentable, mature and secure. Meeting the director of a rugby club is not something a normal person does every day. We reached the entrance of Allianz, big glass doors leading into the foyer and there were trophies, medals, pictures, t-shirts and all manner of things on shelves or hanging on the walls. Nigel led us down this corridor which then took us to a flight of stairs. We walked up them, one at a time, right foot, left foot. With every step my heartbeat got faster and the smile on my face got bigger. We reached the top when there stood Mark McCall.

"So you must be Lindsay" he said looking in my direction.

"Yeah that's me, lovely to meet you Mr McCall." I replied with a smile.

"Oh please, it's Mark, now I need to talk to you in my office, whilst I do that, Tom, Sarah and Lexi and Lottie can go down pitch side and watch from there. James will take you down" he explained. Then out of nowhere James Short appeared. Oh my god, the first one, oh wow. The muscles. Oh my god.

"So you're the boss now?" he said with a chuckle.

"That's right" I managed to say.

"Well it's great to meet you!" he said and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

Okay what just happened? Oh my god. I am not going to be able to cope. I took a few breaths and calmed down; the others followed James back down the stairs whilst I followed Mark into his office.

"Take a seat Lindsay" he said and gestured to a chair opposite his desk. I did and he walked around and sat down.

"So then firstly, Happy 18th Birthday!" he said politely.

"Thank you! I can't believe this has happened today, its mind blowing." I replied smiling.

"It is a pretty cool present. Now we need to talk specifics. A little test if you will, name me 5 players from Sarries." He stated.

"Owen Farrell, Ben Spencer, Brad Barritt, Chris Ashton, James Short." I replied quickly.

"Very good, any others?" he asked.

"Mako Vunipola, Justin Melck, Jackson Wray, Rhys Gill, Sam Stanley, Jamie George, Matt Stevens, Neil de Kock, David Strettle, Alex Goode, Chris Wyles, George Kruis, Will Fraser, Nils Mordt, Carlos Nieto, Adam Powell, Duncan Taylor, Andy Saull, John Smit, Schalk Brits and maybe a few others." I listed.

"Wow, you've named pretty much the entire squad. And there I was thinking you just supported us for the good looking lads!" he chuckled.

"Haha, I understand why you would think that! But no, very serious business, very very serious business." I replied with a serious tone of voice.

"I can see you are going to be a fantastic owner, I can't believe I'll be taking my orders from an 18 year old! Haha! I'm kidding I think this season will have a lot in store with you in charge. Now, are you ready to meet the players?" he inquired.

"Is that even a question?" I responded sarcastically. He smiled and stood up, as did I. I followed him out of his office and down the stairs. Then I felt a cool breeze of air rush onto my face as we stepped outside and I saw them, just metres from my face. That's when reality hit me, and what I was about to do.
