The hues of the Park mansion's living rooms spoke of the forest in autumn with beige walls complimenting the classic furniture, and vintage architecture, each craving with an underlying uniqueness of its own. Y/n found the area as a place that encourages her soul to breathe and dwell in calmness. Thus she sat there often, especially whenever she needed a breathe, like the very moment now.
Yera was slowly warming up to Y/n, the construction of their relationship was surprisingly more diverse and not only being subjected to work. The duo found themselves talking about trivial matters, striking jokes, and sharing thoughts outside of their profession.
As days went by, Y/n found Yera to be tolerable inspite of her nags and interventing trait, Y/n still loathes it but Yera although intervenes a lot, she adds suggestions to them rather than objecting them as a whole which was new to Y/n, all her life she was denied of her thoughts and plans and now Yera encouraging her was something she never knew she needed.
Meanwhile, weeks have passed since the infamous Han gyeol case had found its fate, and recently Patricia had reached out to the Min firm on managing some accounts of hers. Although Y/n suspected the notion of such, Patricia was still a client and therefore she had to attend to her requests.
On the other hand, even if Patricia did have something up her sleeves, Y/n doubts whether she would be paying heed to them because Y/n had brought an even serious case upon herself, a daring one privy to anyone around her and one that could subject her to Yoongi's rage and disappointment. By such a choice, she had gambled with Min's underground investments and common people's lives were at stake.
Endorsed in the thoughts, Y/n's ears failed to pick up the voice calling out for her.
"Ms.Min!" Yera hollered but her voice was quite timid. She didn't wish to draw certain someone's attention.
On hearing her voice, Y/n replied, "I'm in the living room down the left hall, Yera!" and soon the faint tapping of the footsteps began to resound as Yera approached the living room.
"Ms.Min," A sigh fled her lips on perceiving Y/n, her quivering pupils calming down at once.
"What is it?" Y/n knitted her brows observing Yera's urgency. If there was one thing Y/n knew about Yera from working with her all these days, Yera absolutely avoids visiting the Park mansion as much as possible, she couldn't endure being under the same roof as Jimin, his presence was intimidating and made her uncomfortable so her sprinting down the house meant something was up.
"Did you watch the news, Ms.Min?" Advancing towards Y/n, Yera asked and to which Y/n shook her head. Yera quickly whipped her phone out, proceeding to find the headlines which have been flashing over every news channel in Korea for the past hours.

The ladies carefully listened and watched the violence unwinding across the province, the destruction of public properties, and the injuries of people.
