The alluring aroma of freshly plucked Gardenia sprawled velvety around the lowly lit room where y/n and Jimin were having their dinner. The tranquility of the room was profound, the rare scraping of the cutlery against the plate was the only rhythm, an agonizing one indeed.
Y/n has lost her appetite due to the strangling silence, hearing the hard gulping of her own food wasn't settling well. On the other hand, Jimin was almost done with his food.
I don't know whether I should happy that I got Jimin to have dinner with me or sad since the only purpose of this dinner was to investigate how I know him, she thought dipping her lips into the red wine.
After a tedious silence, he spoke, "How did you know me?"
Y/n was quite taken aback by the gravelly tone of his tongue. She let out a chuckle before she placed her stemware on the table, giving him all the attention. Her eyes aligned with his opaque pools drizzled with ice.
"Well, how do you think I knew, Mr.Park?", Her voice was tantalizing as she ambled towards the male.
"I don't have time to play guesses", he uttered with a monotonous expression eyeing her every moment until she was leaning towards him lips a breath apart.
"You can try playing guesses for your wife", she purred straddling herself on his laps, faces inch apart from each other.
But neither an inch nor a muscle he bulged due to her sudden behavior rather he sat like a portrait of calmness.
"What are you trying to do, little fox?", He questioned in an impassive tone earning a tut from y/n.
A series of images ran before her eyes as his question resonated in her ear.
-Flashback-
Y/n took another sup of the warm tea engaging in the conversation, soon her eyes piqued a silver curtain draped elegantly in the far corner, and its surrounding was littered with crushed parchment way more than what's around his study table.
Shortly her mind was warped around what's behind the huge disguise of a curtain intriguing her soul.
She remembered the instructions told, Three blinks in a two-second interval you can activate the scanners in your eye lenses.
Three blinks y/n and try not to look like a robot, she respired deeply. A few minutes into the conversation, she nictated her eyes just to be bewildered. A low gasp escaped her lips as she tried to mask her aghast with a contour of a smile.
Tables, cupboards, chairs, walls, every pigment of the room was opaque, the material used was a camouflage of wood, but thank the lords, the curtain was not the threat. Her eyes epised computers and files, papers and books stacked messily and some distorted behind the curtain.
