Sweet Innocence (Luffy x Reader)

Everything was quiet in the Going Merry.

You could easily see the fog forming with each breath you exhaled. The island you stopped by was a Winter Island and, although you were covered in woolly blankets, you shivered from the chilly winter air that danced its way into the lounge.

"_____-chaaaan!" a familiar voice called from behind you. "I made you some delicious hot cocoa, my darling. Please drink while it's still hot."

"O-Oh. Th-Thanks so much, S-S-Sanji..." You stammered, taking the blue mug from his tray and sipped. The steam brought some color back to your pale cheeks. "Wonderful..." You smiled in content.

The blonde cook looked pleased with his successful mission in keeping you warm and headed off to the deck where he delivered hot cocoa to Robin and Nami.

You sigh.

It has been three days since you have been staying in the island. According to Nami, the log pose would take a week to record the island's magnetic waves. It wasn't all that bad though. There was a village nearby where you could shop for food and other supplies.

You look outside the open door and see Usopp with Luffy. Both of them were hiding behind a small hill of snow on deck. You tilt your head in question.

"Hey, Usopp, what are you doing?" You ask as you leave the lounge and close the door. You could see Sanji with Nami to your left and Zoro was training in the river. Isn't he going to catch a cold?, you wonder to yourself.

"Oh! Hey ____!" Usopp grinned at you. "We're building a fort to protect ourselves against the enemy!"

Your eyes widen in shock. "Enemy?! Where?!" You ask as you frantically search left to right for any sign of marines or bandits. Your gaze met with Luffy's as he stares at you with such seriousness.

You could feel a blush on your cheeks and the heat made you feel a little warmer.

The young captain pointed at the direction in front of them where another snow fort was built. "That is our enemy,____, and we have to fight with everything we've got!" Luffy proclaimed.

You just stood there in confusion as you watch Luffy and Usopp throw snow balls at the fort. "W-What's going on here?! Nami? Sanji?" You turn to the two but was responded by sighs.

"ATTAAAAAAACK!" Chopper shouted from the fort.

Huh?

The deck was a mess of white snow balls flying in every direction. In one team, Luffy and Usopp were throwing like their lives depended on it. On the other team, Chopper was doing the exact same thing but what confuses you the most is...

"Robin, what the hell are you doing there?!"

Robin sat in a chair behind Chopper with a mug of hot cocoa in her hands, smiling. "The doctor wanted me on his team so I joined." She replies rather nonchalantly. Two arms appear on Luffy's fort and snatched a couple of snowballs from his arms.

"HEY! NO FAI--!" Luffy began to say but was cut off by a snowball to the face.

Another snowball hit Usopp's nose and it was game over. "What a bunch of nitwits." Nami commented.

"Looks like we won, doctor." Robin smiles at the reindeer. Her extra arms vanishing in pink petals.

"Damn it. I totally forgot about Robin's Devil Fruit powers." Usopp sighed in defeat.

You couldn't help but giggle at the scene.

"As penalty for losing, you have to accomplish whatever it is we request of you, am I right?" You hear Robin state loudly for everyone to hear. Request? I wonder what Luffy will be doing... You thought to yourself as you stare at his smiling face. If I had joined the game and won...I could ask Luffy for a k-k-ki... You shake your head vigorously at such a thought.
