Nightmares after Midnight 3 (Young Franky x Young Reader)

You were sleeping in your bed when a sudden strong swaying motion woke you up.

You look around, seeing your room empty. Mom? Dad? You wonder, gently stepping down on the floorboards and walking towards the door. Opening it, you noticed a small flood of water on the floor. "That's weird..." You mutter to yourself.

It was silent in the halls below deck but you could hear a lot of noise upstairs. "Daddy? Hello? Anyone?" You continue to call as your small footsteps echo the empty halls. Where was everyone else?

Finally you reach the deck, only to find crowds of people running around in a panic. The captain had a megaphone in his hand and yelling for everyone to calm down and head for the lifeboats.

"Wha-WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?!" You gasp. Heavy rain showered painfully like ice cubes and the entire deck was flooding water.

"Evacuate the area, PLEASE. No pushing!" The captain says over the megaphone.

You run with the crowd and searching for your missing parents. "MOM! DAD! HEY, WHERE ARE YOU?!" You cry over the screams and the cacophonous chaos around you. Hearing your mother's voice, you rush to her, only to be swept away by the wave.

"NO! PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME!" You scream, sitting up with your arm outstretched, clutching the sheets of the bed with the other hand and panting hard. Your (E/C) eyes were wide in fear and tears streamed down your face like rain dripping on glass.

"Okay."

You gasp upon realizing the boy standing in front of you. He silently closed the door he just opened and walked over to sit at the foot of the bed you were on.

It was a dream?

You slowly pull your arm back and covered your eyes with both hands, shoulders shaking as you silently wept. He stared at you for a moment before moving closer to you, pulling you into his arms and embracing you. You didn't move or push him away. You continued to cry as he stroked your hair while whispering, "It's okay. I'm here."

His sudden gentleness surprised you, but it made you feel safe. You rest your head on his chest and sighed. "Thank you...Franky..."
